Amazing
Our stay was wonderful. Very spacious, clean and modern. Indoor pool, roof top space, sauna and steam room were an absolute plus.

The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, updated, neat and was in great proximity to what we had expected. Found a great breakfast spot very close by so that was a plus. The parking is limited and a bit over priced, $20 for the night in addition to what was paid for the room. The indoor pool was nice and so was the roof top deck. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Very Good but Spartan
Hotel Mai is excellently located and is generally a nice, newer hotel. There are no real amenities above pool/spa/gym to speak of but it's a nice, clean hotel. It is right in downtown and the area is busy and noisy and the hotel is not well insulated from the sound of a city. I think Long Beach is just dirty due to the Port fallout so I'll give them a pass for keeping it 100% tidy, but overall, would recommend for a business traveler that doesn't need room service or a bunch of fancy amenities, mostly a clean place to sleep with the ability to walk to a ton of restaurants.

All the STAFF is fantastic. Michael remembered me from last time- hes checked me in twice.
Rooms are perfect. I got the best one! Walking distance from everything. The place is perfect.
And to be frank- im a stuck up "you know what" about hotels. Has been and only place I will be staying in Long Beach. Now and in the future!

Boring plain white walls throughout a poorly renovated building. Looks like a single man in his 40’s trying to be a youngster, decorated this mess. Topped off with a corny LED disco show in the steam room. For $500 a night, I’d look for better.
