We arrived late but the inn keeper (Vince) was so helpful, understanding and accommodating. Refreshing to find such great service. The room was clean and neat. Quaint little place. Love it! Will recommend 👍🏼

The hotel front desk and restaurant waiter are the same person, I don’t know if he is the boss. They were very hospitable and my little daughter also came along to help. I recommend a room with a balcony, on the first floor. The leaves opposite are red, which is very beautiful.

The place smelled disgusting. Just walking in the front door, it smelled like urine and mildew. My room smelled so mildewy I had to sleep with the window open. It was obvious by the ceiling dust on the toilet paper holder and shampoo bottles, that the room hadn't been used in a while.
The whole place needs to have the carpets removed and have a serious overhaul.
So, so bad.

The staff was super friendly. I forgot my phone charger and was hoping to plug in a USB cord, but there wasn't an option for that. The room is dated, floor was uneven in spots. The shower was INCREDIBLE!! Overall, my stay was pleasant.

The last couple times I have come and the buffet isn’t available and I pay for it

We were traveling to Vermont for the first time for a girl's trip and to the Vermont Country Store and to celebrate a birthday. Found this hotel at Magic Mountain and by the looks of the pictures online as well as the distance to the store, decided on this venue for the first part of our trip. Couldn't wait to leave and did so first thing the next morning. The rooms are very old and don't smell good. Bathroom and shower were dirty, rug was so dirty in the room that my socks were gross from walking on them. There was no refrigerator, no microwave. Heating was antique and pipes pounded ALL night long, were didn't get much sleep. There was so much snow and solid ice between our car and the door that it was dangerous to even walk. Our door didn't lock, hotel staff had to show us how to lift the door up from the floor to get it to even close. We were told restaurant and bar opened at 5. We went down about 5:30 or so, sat at a table, and were asked to leave because we didn't have a reservation. Mind you, only two tables were occupied! No one told us we needed reservations. So we went to put our name on the list and there was an hour and a half wait! We left without dinner. This property is certainly not a $300 per night stay, it is way over priced and way over rated. I would not recommend at all. At 7am, we were packed back up and got out of there.

Perfect for winter vacation. Just walk at the ski lift, parking is free just infront. A lot of good restaurant nearby. Friendly staff. It’s our second time here and would go back again.
