On arrival the check in desk was extremely busy however they were really quick! We were over an hour early and as the rooms were ready they gave us the keys straight away! Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. Location was perfect!!! And a 2 minute walk to the dominion theatre to see sister act!! Rooms are small but they had everything we needed for a weekend break. Shower was powerful with plenty of heat. Only criticism is there was no cups to put ice in by the machines and tv channels weren’t the best as they kept buffering. Will definitely stay here again .

Booked this trip for my finances birthday. The hotel is outdated which we were aware of and no issues there but if you’re looking for something modern it’s not the place for you. The lift doors were very sticking and didn’t seem to open properly and had a bad smell to them. Checked in ok, went to our room which had the heating on full blast and the temp was showing at 39c. We tried to open the window but it was held closed by just a screw. The bed was very comfy to sleep on but we only stayed one night so wasn’t too bad. The next morning we were disturbed by housekeeping entering our room at 8am saying hello then quickly exiting and then hoovering the corridors banging the walls and our door. We told reception about this but was greeted by a rude member of staff who pointed to another lady then walked off. The lady behind the desk said she’ll talk to housekeeping again so sounds like this happens a lot. We then decided to go for breakfast to be told it was £15 each! Apparently when you check in you can buy breakfast at a discounted rate of £12.50 but no one told us or offered this at check in. We decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. All in all we had a good trip to London but will not recommend this hotel or ever be returning again. I wish I had spent a bit more and gone to a better hotel.

Hotel was nice room was a little over looked by neighbouring buildings but room was spacious hotel in good location st Paul’s cathedral right outside door. Easy walk to South bank and Tower of London .Breakfast plenty of options but a little lukewarm but it was buffet .. pool and spa nice but busy and noisy can’t comment on bar or restaurant as did not use overall a nice stay would stay again

The staff is very nice and welcoming, No elevator, it's inconvenient The room is on the ground floor, and the road is outside the window. It ’s super noisy. If you open the curtains, people outside can see the inside at a glance, which is very inconvenient. The location is very good, very close to the subway, but there is no elevator in the subway, and the luggage is heavy. If you take the subway to the airport, you have to carry it yourself Nearby are the Tete Museum and the St. Paul's Hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is convenient to eat.

Lovely 2 night weekend stay - Room immaculate and fantastic size - ample storage, seating and very large bed. Bathroom was stunning as well as functional with large shower and separate freestanding bath. Hotel had a nice ambiance to it and felt very clean. Had dinner in the restaurant on night 1 - service a little slow but burgers were fantastic. Breakfast was decent but wouldn't get too excited. Also seemed to be some tables with a la carte orders despite that not being told to everyone. Excellent location next to OXO building, right on the thames. Would stay again.

I find spa days odd if this is normal. Maybe this is a me thing. £70 to sip camomile tea in a not very warm room with the lights down (I could have murdered a coffee but they didn’t “do” coffee in the spa. Coming from a luxury hospitality background and it being a high-end hotel, I would have thought someone might have offered me one); the jacuzzi again was not all warm and nice so my muscles still wouldn’t relax and then there is a steam room with eucalyptus. The sauna is separated m/f so i didn’t bother because I went with a male friend and the point was to chat… we ended up having more tea. There is no swimming pool but there is a gym. Fair enough if you want that. My starters had no flavour at all. The main was nice and right for the moment and my Irish coffee was delicious. The building wowed me and everything is in very good condition. Staff are down to earth, smart and friendly. The set menu was worth doing. I don’t know how this competes with other hotels but had the spa been warmer I would certainly have been happier. I feel £70 for that part of the day is money for old rope. When I think about it we spent about £20 an hour to be in a nice building and have a £30 two course meal. I think that’s quite a lot. The spa could do with some personality, warmth, music… having tables cleared more often (it wasn’t busy)… something other than going room to room in a towling robe.

I’d never stayed in a holiday inn before and found this hotel on booking.com. I booked to stay here for 2 nights for a weekend in London with my partner. Check in was smooth and quick. The staff were polite, efficient and helpful. Our room was very clean and just what we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious and there was shower and hair gel available to use. There was a notice on the bathroom wall which I thought was a nice touch to say there were disposable razors, toothbrushes and shaving foam etc.. available from reception if you had forgotten any toiletries. There were plenty of clean towels in the room, a hair dryer and an ironing board and iron to use if needed. The only slight issue we had was that the TV remote was missing but I am not going to mark the hotel down for that at all because when I reported it to reception it was dealt with swiftly and the maintenance man was at our room within ten minutes with a spare one. It was nice and quiet where we stay we had no disturbance at all. Breakfast was good there was a hot buffet breakfast, with fruit, cereal, croissants, yoghurts and toast available along with orange juice and apple juice with a good range of hot drinks available. Our room was tidied after our first night which surprised me, but I thought it was nice. The bed was made while were out and the towels, tea and coffee were replenished as well as the bin emptied. Checking out was fast and easy. We had a nice stay and it was a great location for us and I would stay at this hotel again when visiting London again.

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted at reception and check in was smooth. We then entered our hotel room and it all went downhill. One of the pillows was filthy and we had to ask for it to be changed. After using the toilet we found that it did not flush, we told reception and we were informed this was a common problem. We then went out for the evening to see a show and on arriving back we found that there weren't any curtains in the room just a strip of material on a runner to pull across the window. The material only covered about 2/3 of the window which didn't provide much privacy from the building opposite and let too much light in. Myself and my partner both showered that evening and were almost scolded by the water. We were unable to turn the temperature down low enough. We then discovered that when cleaning our teeth there wasn't any cold water in the tap. Just a drip. We complained again. After a late night we were glad to sleep and not have to get up early. How wrong we were! At 8:15 the following morning we were both still asleep when there was a knock at the door. I woke my boyfriend and told him to go to the door. On opening it there was a woman stood there saying ”check out!” We said not yet and she just kept repeating ”Check out.” We asked what time check out was and she replied that she didn't speck English. We shut the door and checked on our booking which said check out was midday! We were incredibly cross that we had been disturbed and complained yet again when we went down to reception. As an apology we were offered a free breakfast. It was the worst breakfast, Very few cooked items available, most warming dishes were empty, no bread for toast and no pastries. No wonder they gave it away free! All in all a disastrous stay in an awful hotel. We will not be returning.

Good location near Russell Square station, walking distance to Tottenham Court Road, Euston (15min). Room is basic and comfortable. Doors slam very loudly and cause disturbance at night. There was a function one night that lasted till almost midnight and the noise/music reverberations travelled a couple of floors up.

We had to stay one night in London and chose the London Hilton Bankside because it is a really clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. With gym room and swimming pool which is perfect to relax after a busy day. I would recommend this hotel regarding price for what you got is really good.
