Excellent hotel
The room is small but very cozy
The most important thing in the room is the bed, after long flights and tiring long walks around the city, the most important thing is to get a good night's sleep
Breakfast is beyond praise
I recommend
We had an amazing stay at the Apex City of London Hotel! Traveling as a family, we were truly impressed with the warm and thoughtful service. I had requested a birthday note as a special surprise for my mom, and the team went above and beyond by also providing a delicious birthday cake—it really made her day feel extra special.
We booked a room with a sofa bed, which was already set up as a bed when we arrived. It was comfortable, though not quite as cozy as the main bed; a bit of extra cushioning or a mattress topper would be a nice touch for anyone using it as a regular bed.
The amenities were excellent and well worth the value, with comfortable rooms and great facilities like the sauna, pool, and gym. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk to train and bus stations and an easy stroll to the Tower of London. Plus, they allow guests to store bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was very convenient for our plans. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of what this wonderful hotel has to offer!

Although the hotel breakfast is made to order, it is of higher quality than the buffet. But the food is delicious, all Western-style, and there are quite a few choices. Of course it is not suitable for those who are not good at English. The location of the hotel is also convenient. It is suitable for people who are familiar with the area. All major attractions are within walking distance.
Great hotel. Just under 10 minutes walk from Moorgate Station or Finsbury Square bus routes.
Great heritage to hotel being a former brewery.
Long queues at both check in and check out.
Room fine although was on the cold side.
Everything was very clean.
Expensive but this is London.
The hotel is in a fantastic location. The service was a bit of a mixed bag, while checking and waiting for 15 minutes in a queue a man told us that he is closing down his desk when it was our turn, bit of an odd timing when you have so many costumers waiting, but the lady helping us after was great . Everyone in the executive lounge was very friendly, same with the spa staff.
Breakfast was very nice, lots of variety and constantly stocked up.
The room was really small, both of them couldn’t turn around, but the facilities were very new and the sanitation was good. The main check-out at 11 o’clock was really hard.
We have stayed in this hotel for around 10 days with two rooms. We pick this hotel because of the location, we could reach the liverpool station and go travelling with most of the rail lines. However, the room is too small. Obviously we overlooked the pictures of the room. Basically we step in the room and the bed is on the left side toilet in the front. We go to the receiption and see if we could pay to upgrade our room. The receiption is really helpful. He calls the manager and asked immediately and did as much as he could. Eventually we could upgrade one of our room but not the other one.
If you are on budget, it could be suitable choice. I am definitely not going back to it if I am going to UK next time. It's just too small of a room, and not a good choice if you are looking for a memorable experience going to london for family trip.
Hotel receptionists are helpful and friendly. I only had unhappy experience with house-keeping staff. First time, I closed the door leaving the key inside, an young house keeper passed by, I politely asked for her help. She told me “contact reception” with impolite attitude, walk away immediately but I still can hear her mumbled “ it’s not my work”. Second time, I and my friend came to her room while the house keeper doing cleaning, we saw her put all stuffs ( coffee, tea, water bottle) in the Garbage bin and refill in the room. Is it a common practice in the hotel? Even though the coffee sachets, water bottle sealed, but garbage bin is used for garbage, not for those things.
Amazing. The location is good and convenient. I have my itinerary finished late but still find simple way to return to the hotel.

Great
GGuest UserThe room is large, with a sofa, a comfortable bed, a relatively large bathroom, and a quiet room. It is very close to the Tower Bridge and is very convenient to walk to. Hilton is opposite. The elevator floor with OK security requires a card.
宋宋The English breakfast is good. Hotel facilities are average and cannot compare those of Indigo in China. It is like a 3.5-star hotel. The price is really high. Transportation is very convenient. It's very close to the Tower of London and the London Bridge.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Bob W St Paul’s, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The place were impeccably clean and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to the underground.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very new, and the location is good—it's very close to Blackfriar station. The service quality is good, especially the front desk staff, who was very helpful. Surprisingly, the dinners at two restaurants were very good, and the breakfast was of Hyatt Regency's standard quality.
GGuest UserI'm on my honeymoon!
I want to feel more local feeling than the hotel
I booked it as an airbnb-feeling apartment
Very spacious and nice!
I didn't worry about badburgh!
It was good condition, and it was good to take a towel if you ask.
There's all the kitchen, the dishwasher, the washing machine, the microwave, the pot, etc.
It was great to take the Korean food you brought!
Especially, the hot water and the radiator are so warm that they are so warm
It was a basement floor (ring underground), but it didn't matter! There was a window so it was ventilated!
However, I recommend that you check in online in advance and then receive the door code in advance!
We didn't do it in advance, but it was blocked at the entrance and kept in touch with the ownerㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ
It is very convenient to receive the code!
Thank you for your intermediate contact :)
GGuest UserA modern hotel, only a few minutes walk from Aldgate tube. Good views of the city from our room, which was clean with a floor to ceiling window. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was small but for the price I would definitely recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserBrilliantly placed between Aldgate Tube and Tower Bridge , through Canopy is a modern hotel with excellent service and high end amenities.
We stayed as part of a birthday celebration which we'd enquired about beforehand; the room was thoughtfully decorated with balloons, cake and drinks in the mini bar. The rooms are well decorated with luxurious beds, blackout curtains and lots of storage space. The bathrooms , for us , were excellent- a huge and powerful shower , impeccably clean. Large TV with all the usual channels , well heated rooms.
My only teeny gripe is that you're only provided with enough tea / milk for 1 cuppa each and on the one occasion I actually needed a sewing kit, there wasn't one ! A very very minor glitch though. The staff were helpful and on hand ; would definitely recommend and would stay again.
We ate at the Ivy Tower Bridge (10 mins walk) but also at the Hoop and Anchor (5 mins) which is a 16th Cent pub on the main st , amazing food !
杨杨The staff is very nice and welcoming,
No elevator, it's inconvenient
The room is on the ground floor, and the road is outside the window. It ’s super noisy. If you open the curtains, people outside can see the inside at a glance, which is very inconvenient.
The location is very good, very close to the subway, but there is no elevator in the subway, and the luggage is heavy. If you take the subway to the airport, you have to carry it yourself
Nearby are the Tete Museum and the St. Paul's Hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is convenient to eat.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the center of a lot of attractions in the surrounding area, the road is reachable, the rent is not expensive, the room is large enough, the waiters are friendly and courteous, the facilities are not large, there is a coffee machine in the lobby to drink at any time. No housekeeping service for 5 days, generally satisfactory
