Hotels in Bloomsbury, London

150 years old buildings, rooms are very small with limited space for luggage. It's a bad idea to stay in summer as no air conditioner or fan is available but not a standard. Must ask for it as they don't proactive tell. Breakfast add on are expensive at 17.5GBP, lots of choice around. It's close to British Museum and tube stations and centre to many attractions. Great as convenient location.

It was a short stay so we did not really use their facilities. The location was great as it was in between two tube stations and had a lot of stores nearby. I would recommend it to travelers who are looking for a short stay and a convenient location for their trip. Staff were professional and friendly, also very informative as we asked for locations, assistance in making further travel arrangements.

Very modern and clean hotel, fairly spacious room. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was of a very good quality. I asked for a quiet room - I could hear water flowing through the pipes in the wall (quite subtle) but it stopped before midnight and was fairly quiet through the night. Overall I was quite happy with my stay!

Hotel service was overall shocking. I had a room + breakfast prepaid for 4 days. I returned to the room late on the 3rd day to find that the hotel had mistakenly cancelled my room with my belongings within and let it out to someone else. After a long time of reasoning back and forth, the hotel finally got me another room and they found my belongings, but the next morning, I was told by the restaurant that the new room I was assigned to did not come with breakfast even though I had paid for it. I also did not get any message from the duty manager who said that she would follow up on possible refunds. There was only one duty manager I encountered later who actually performed proper service recovery. He was the only service staff I would commend. In terms of physical infrastructure, the elevated hotel entrance does not have a ramp, only steps, and is not suitable for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs.

Can’t beat the location. It’s so close to Oxford Circuit , British Museum and Picadilly. It’s a very good price in such London’s busy area. Stuffs are very friendly. The hotel is a bit old. Trip.com said it’s just renovated but seems I can’t see it. Some spider web in the room. Closet is broken. Carpet is not too clean. A bit noisy when people walking upstairs and downstairs. Overall for such price in London I would say it’s acceptable.

Bedford hotel is extremely centric and allows you to go to main amenities and shopping area by walking distance. This is a huge plus in London for a reasonable price per night. The room is small, but it has everything you need and is very clean. I think that is why they can offer competitive prices within the heart of London. The breakfast is very good too with quality product. Even the coffee machine (which are typically terrible) produced a fairly good flat white. So all in all I would strongly recommend it for both business and leisure purposes.

Good for price. Excellent location. Has a kitchen and big area where you can eat, work on laptop. Amenities look old, bathrooms are tiny.

Love the room, its very english and very historic. Clean, and large enough for one person. Location is strategic, walking distance to euston square, and right opposite UCL with lots of eateries around. Walking distance to british museum too. It has a nice garden outside and the ldy receptionist i think her name is susanna (dark hair) is really helpful. Would stay here again

High standards of welcome and staff always friendly and professional. Art deco architecture in the centre of London quiet at night. Room bed shower WiFi all good. We are planning to return. Metro and Euston station short walk. Thanks for a delightful experience.

A classy and beautiful hotel conveniently located. The park view room faces Russell Sq offering a great view of the park. Room size is typical for Europe which means at same room type/level will be fairly smaller than Asian counterparts. The restaurants on the property are also highly recommended.
