Great service and friendly staff were always available.
Breakfast was great for what you paid, and it was all you can eat. Toast, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, not a full English breakfast but very affordable.
Things like amenities such as washing and towels were available, but had to pay a small price extra for.
The facilities were good and there was a bar/hang out area which was open each night and made it very easy to.mingle with fellow travellers.
Very central to the city and most landmarks were walking distance about an hour or so which is good when visiting a new city. Of course the London tube is available.
Would highly recommend anyone travelling to London solo for a nice experience to meet fellow travellers without breaking the bank.
I’ve stayed here before and the room has some dirt in it and the staff weren’t very helpful. But this time the men around reception were quick, professional and pleasant, and the room was much cleaner.
After 2 stays I can confirm that no matter where you stay, you will be able to hear corridor noises and plumbing through the building. That’s fine for most people but just something to bear in mind if you’re neurodivergent like me.
Canary Wharf feels very clean and modern and arriving at the hotel was in line with this.
I happened to notice in our room it was a little dusty on arrival but otherwise seemed clean - glass in the shower soo clear/clean I actually bashed my head into it trying to put something in the shower doh!
Our Standard room was very small, would recommend a bigger room if you can, looking at the tv in bed it felt very close
A little bit of noise from outside Saturday night but not too bad - lots of lovely restaurants near by and tube five mins walk, along with small shopping centre.
Navigating to rooms a little confusing as each turn looks the same.
You Need an access card aka room key 🔑 to get in the lift up & down which can be fiddly but also important
Air con in the room quite noisy (sounds like a boiler starting up)
Comfy bed. Shower small, in keeping with room size, good water pressure.

The hotel was extremely clean and the front-desk service was also great. The breakfast was delicious for the price (in our case, this was already included in the booking fee, but if I remember well it's around 5gbp). The location is very handy because you're close to everything (well, it's Whitechapel). If you don't know the neighborhood, please google it first to know if it suits your needs and preferences.
One detail: if you're booking a 2 single bed room, privacy is not the best due to the size of the room. The shower only has a (very transparent) glass to separate it from the room, and the toilet is next to it (with a door, luckily) so it's important to have this in mind. Other than that, the neighborhood has everything you need: local restaurants, cafés, a big Tesco Express a few meters away, etc.
Wonderful Hotel! Clean updated and has AC! Lighting colour change, big TV. Olympics was on.
There are extending at the other side so we didn’t get affected by the noise. Food places are close by, and a nice walk along the canary.
The location for a taxi is abit hard to find. And the toilets are abit small. But a great stay! Staff polite and helpful. Thank you
pleasant. The price was affordable, especially with the perks offered through the app, which made it great value for money. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food options were good. We also appreciated the availability of locker storage, which made things convenient.
However, one downside was the ongoing maintenance work during our stay. It caused some disruption, and unfortunately, we had to take quite a long detour just to reach our room. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did take away from the overall convenience.
Would still recommend for the price, perks, and service — just worth checking ahead if maintenance is ongoing.
Absolutely amazing visit for my Girlfriends Birthday. The team really went to town organising an amazing room with balloons and cholocates. The check in team were soo friendly and even let us leave our bags early before we checked in to allow us to go out for lunch. Absolutely incredible stay, I can’t wait to book my next visit. The spa facilities were amazing the the swimming pool was very clean and fresh towels provided. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.
Thank you soo much, you made our stay very special.
We liked the hotel and it’s no frills concept. Our double room was spacious and modern with a well integrated bathroom pod. The staff were friendly and helpful with good tips and a great attitude. The only thing that let the whole process down were the self checkin / checkout screens which did not work very well and only sporadically. Breakfast was not just continental as described but also featured a full English fry up.
I checked into this London hotel on a busy afternoon and had mixed first impressions. While the room was relatively spacious for London standards and appeared clean overall, I was surprised to find an unmelted ice cream with stick in the toilet bowl when I lifted the lid. Fortunately, staff were nearby and cleaned it up very quickly, though it didn't make for the best welcome.
The room was missing a hairdryer, but when I mentioned this at reception, they responded immediately and provided one without any hassle. The quick response from staff was impressive throughout my stay.
What truly stood out was the bed comfort - hands down the most comfortable I've experienced across all my hotel stays. The mattress and pillows struck the perfect balance: not too soft or hard, not too low or high. I enjoyed excellent sleep both nights, which made a real difference to my trip.
The breakfast offered good value for money. While not fancy, it provided everything needed to start the day well. The self check-in and online check-out processes were very convenient and hassle-free.
Location-wise, the area felt quite busy and I'd recommend being cautious with personal belongings as it's not the safest zone in London. The walk toward East Aldgate feels noticeably safer than other directions. While Whitechapel station for the Elizabeth Line is only a 10-minute walk, that route can feel more complicated to navigate.
Overall, despite some initial hiccups, the staff responsiveness and exceptional bed comfort made for a decent stay.

Great
GGuest UserThe staff was very welcoming, friendly, helpful & courteous. The hotel was easy to find and within close proximity of restaurants & bars. The room was spacious and well kept, bathroom was clean as well. I would definitely book this hotel again & recommend it to anyone. Had breakfast on property once and that was great as well.
GGuest UserOnly stayed for 1 night but had a really good experience. First impressions were amazing as we were greeted by Francesca who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. She said she would upgrade us to a better room for no added price (we didn’t ask). Everything was very clear and easy to navigate. The room was better than I even imagined with a great view of the London eye and London Bridge. Would definitely return.

Not too bad a location, can get a little uncomfortable at night for solo travellers while heading back as there are few people loitering around. Smart rooms, control panel control the lights and the signs for the door. Compact room but it's cosy for one.
Cons (scary encounter)
Someone rang my doorbell and tried to force open the room door in the middle of the night. Luckily i locked it from the inside and door couldn't be opened. It happened twice within the same night. There was no room phone so i had to call the hotel from my own mobile, and feeling puzzled, 2 staff came up to my room to clarify.
They then told me a drunk 'guest' was 'assisted' to come up the hotel rooms, but she had actually went to the wrong hotel. Weird explanation, because firstly, a room key is needed to access the lift. Secondly, if the person who assisted the drunk guest is a hotel staff who owns a master key since he's able to access the lift, he should've verify her identity prior to allowing the guest up the rooms premises. Its a safety concern. What if I did not lock the room door from the inside? The drunk guest could have just barged in and i as a female, was staying alone.
Lastly, there was no kettle, only 2 bottles of water.
LLucky TreeCame to holiday inn Whitechapel with my mother and sister and it was pleasant. We were too early to check in but the receptionist came to us the minute our room was ready. The lounge area had a mini Starbucks and a buffet area. They also had a couch with a flat screen tv for those who are too early to check in. They took our bags to the back room while we waited. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and had everything we would need for two nights. The only negative I would say would be the sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable but if you’re staying for short term it’s really handy for just resting your eyes. The room was spotless and the location is amazing. There’s a Tesco and saintburys nearby if you wanted to bring drinks and snacks back to the room. Will gladly be coming back here. The location is amazing too and only a 10 min walk to the train station and in the centre of many popular attractions that are only a few stops away.
雨雨丝风片The hotel is just above Canary Wharf and is just a short drive from the ferry terminal. By ferry or metro bus, you can easily reach the city centres such as Westminster. It is close to the financial city, surrounded by office workers, no tourists, relatively quiet. It is the East London Indians who have more points in the Middle East. On the edge of the ferry terminal is my favorite Cantonese restaurant dynasty. For me, this Chinese restaurant is very good in London, at least it is much stronger than the Chinatown, and the price is very high. So for me this location is excellent. The old hotel is old, but when the four seasons hotel was designed and built, it was made of good materials. The room of about forty inches was very big in London. The bathroom was especially spacious and exquisite, wet and dry, with rain and bathtub. , multi-angle mirror, super like the bath water of this hotel, very large, very comfortable to wash. This bathing water is the best in so many hotels in London where I have lived. The hotel gym and swimming pool are also very good. It’s just that the swimming pool is outsourced to Viking. I have to go to the hotel front desk to change cards. I walked over from the back garden and went through the public areas. I can’t go straight to the bathrobes or swimsuits. I have to take the swimming things to the locker room there. Change, this is very bad for a five-star hotel. And because the swimming pool is outsourced, there are a lot of people and it’s not good. The departure hotel helped to call a taxi, but it was not a watch. It was a fixed price, which was five pounds more expensive than when I was on the table. Overall, the hotel's price/performance ratio is not bad in London.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserI had issues with the app to begin with and missed a lot of updates and notifications, like the 'how to get in' instruction video. However, on arrival the self check-in code machine was not working properly. I tried several times only for an alarm to go off. Others joined me and also tried the code without luck. We tried to contact the telephone number listed but immediately hung up on several occasions. We eventually dialled the 'after 9pm emergency' number who didn't help first time, but helped the send time. Once in, the property was not quite as I expected, but the pods were comfortable if not a little stuffy on a warm night. But it did the trick. The area is perfectly fine, walking distance of Brick Lane, Spitalfields Market and both Whitechapel and Aldgate East train stations. I was a bit cautious late at night being a single female, but once inside I felt perfectly safe. I would use it again when in the area as it was reasonably priced and kinda funky.
GGuest UserThe hotel room was clean and spacious and had everything we deserve. The location was ok. There is a supermarket nearby. Service super friendly and satisfying. Equipment very good.
MMichaelFiveThe room can accommodate three people. There is a sofa that can be turned into a bed. The bathroom is very spacious and clean. It is necessary to note that the UK hotel basically has no toothpaste and toothbrush and the slippers need to carry the hotel. The hotel has a buffet breakfast £7.5. An ibis is a choice that I will go to in many countries. The hotel chain Accor Group's blessing quality is very guaranteed and the price is moderate for students to accept
