The apartment was suffocatingly hot, even when I tried to turn the dials down in all of the rooms it didn’t seem to make any difference to the temperature, I found it really unhelpful there were no instructions at all for the apartment, just loads of signs saying ‘DO NOT TOUCH.’ I contacted the property manager who was busy, by the time the property manager got back to me, I had already left the apartment as I needed to go to work. I didn’t have any time to return back so couldn’t turn off the heating when she finally sent me the photos and instructions. She told me that no one could go to the apartment and do it for me as well when I requested this! When I finally returned back to the apartment after a long day at work (after midnight), I barely slept at all as it was stiflingly hot, when I opened the windows all I could hear was traffic noise so it didn’t help. Then for the second night, when the apartment finally cooled down, I had another long day at work and was back after midnight. I was then woken up at 3am by the sound of the fire alarm (which was faulty) which was the last thing I needed! I spoke to another guest who was staying there, and they said it was the fourth time that week that happened. So two nights staying there, barely any sleep. The property only offered 20% discount, that was it.
