The environment is cleaner than I thought, and it's about a 12-minute walk from the train station. If you don't have a high budget, this is a good choice.

We have just returned from staying at this hotel. We read the reviews beforehand and were a bit apprehensive but everything was fine, our room (114) was very clean and quiet. We were staying 2 nights so asked for the room to be cleaned on the second day, which it was - new towels, bins emptied etc. OK, the view was not the Maldives, overlooking a block of flats, but no noise at all even though the hotel was full. It was a great base for shows at Olympia and easy to get to the West End in the evening. The staff were great - Ciara, Eli and two young ladies on reception whose names we didn't catch, all very welcoming and helpful. So on the whole, would recommend it, but perhaps ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the Cromwell Road is obviously very busy. The hotel is in an old building which we thought added to the charm, but lots of stairs which may not suit everyone. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Base no negatives from us. We have just returned from this Premier Inn. If we are on activity or City breaks we ALWAYS stay at Premier. I was concerned by the negative reviews but we certainly didn't have anything bad. Staff and we met about 6 of them were cheerful polite and very helpful. I couldn't get the heating to work in the first room and neither could the team member we asked. She moved us next door after checking the heating was working and we were given a free breakfast as an apology. We had two evening meals both really well cooked piping hot and fresh with a lot to choose from and we have the same opinion of the breakfast, lots of choice of everything. Thanks to everyone we met. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Just a small point I've seen a couple of comments about noise at night. We were really careful not to disturb the peace of any little ones or their parents when returning late at night. Might be nice if this favour could be returned in the morning. Not the fault of the hotel though

Myself and my family recently stayed at this hotel during our visit to London for our daughter's 10th birthday. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, our room was of excellent size, very clean and we had tea/coffee facilities that were stocked up when we arrived. There was extra tea/coffee etc at reception that you can help yourself to should you need to top up. The beds are so comfortable too. We had breakfast during our stay, which consisted of a fully cooked breakfast and the options were fab and I can't fault them. There was a good variety of choice, regularly topped up, and it is self-service. The hotel location was ideal for us as we were visiting the Design Museum as part of our trip, which was only about a 15 minute walk away. It is also very close to the underground, and local shops/takeaways. We would 100% return to this hotel again, it provided us with everything that we needed and was fantastic value for money.

I stayed at the hotel just before Christmas and had a laundry bag on the floor. When the cleaning staff came, they picked up the bag, but they didn’t empty the bin under the desk or vacuum the carpet. When we returned to our room that evening, we noticed these issues, so we informed the receptionist. She came to our room, saw that the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and the bin hadn’t been emptied, and we also mentioned a foul sewer smell coming from the hall. Consequently, we were moved to another room. On the morning of our departure, the manager, who had previously assured us she would check on our bag, was nowhere to be found. She had said she would speak to us before we left, but when we checked out, she was allegedly unavailable. We never received the promised follow-up call. When I contacted Premier Inn guest relations for an update, I was met with misleading information from the hotel staff, claiming they had photographic evidence of our bag being attended to when they went to our room. I spoke with 4 different mangers while staying there and not one said of any evidence, which i would like provided as its lies.I found their attitude appalling and have been left feeling quite frustrated with the entire experience.

We stay in premier inns often and unfortunately this was the worst one we’ve ever experienced. The hotel is on a scruffy street with loads of rubbish dumped down the fronts of the buildings. It was unclear if this belonged to premier inn or not. The first room we were given smelled of drains so we asked to be moved. The second smelled of damp but we stuck with it to avoid seeming awkward. We had two rooms and the second one looked out over gardens full of rubbish. The whole hotel needed updating and felt very tired. The chairs in the dining room were frayed and stained and quite off putting while eating a meal. The one saving grace was that the beds were as comfy as we have come to expect from premier inns, so we did have a good nights sleep.

Location was excellent, very close to metro station, and has plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. The hotel itself was very clean, price was fair and the staff was lovely and super helpful. I will definitely consider it for my next trip to London
