Great for a short stay!
I recently stayed at Linden House Hotel, and unfortunately, it felt like stepping back in time—and not in a charming way. The entire place is in dire need of renovations, from the worn-out carpets to the outdated furniture that looks like it hasn’t been replaced in decades.
One of the biggest issues is accessibility. The stairs are incredibly steep, making it a real struggle to carry luggage or move around, especially for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. There’s no elevator, which is something to keep in mind before booking.

Booked here for one night before my exam in central London.
Good location. So clean and staff are very nice. I would definitely come here again.
The room was so nice and so clean! I’ve stayed in similar Victorian townhouses converted into hotels and they’ve never been this nice. I’m pleasantly surprised. I took it as a good sign before my exam!

When we arrived, check in was quick, there are stairs you need to climb with your luggage so be prepared. The room was small but clean and it had everything we needed (hair dryer, coffee, tea). The bed was comfortable. The location was great, not far from Paddington station and close to restaurants and shops.It was a nice stay.

Lovely location however we have a fault in the bathroom with a leak and they refused to partially refund despite us not able to use the light in there and there were no other rooms available. Bottom floor is very loud with upstairs and cleaners making noise.
