OYO 24 Sussex, London Paddington

All was good for my room except for clogging in shower room. I already told the reception from the day we checked in. However, they told they will fix the clogging issue the next day. Unfortunately, we came back in the evening to the hotel room and it wasn’t fixed yet. The receptionist offered us a new room which we need to change from level 2 to level 4 walk up (meaning no elevator). It was 11pm and I had my mother with me. I declined the offer as that wasn’t a good option for us. I wrote an email to the hotel manager about this and they just ignored my email. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for your stay in London. The fee should include a comfortable shower room but that wasn’t my case for 3 days 2 nights stay.

Booked 9 months ago for our stay today got email saying you have cancelled our booking shocking so glad we are not staying here the reviews are terrible run down and dirty will never book with you ever again thankyou OYO very disapointed

Absolutely total con artists/Scammers Booked this place back in April 2023 for a 3 night stay, 2 rooms from 17th November. Today I received a email to say that I had cancelled the reservation (WHICH I HAD NOT). They took a payment of £12 back in April and had the audacity to blame me for cancelling the booking and taking the full payment from my account today. I phoned the hotel to be told that there was un foreseeable circumstances and that they had cancelled my booking but had also charged me. I asked what the circumstances were and was told that the Hotel had closed. I will be checking this out next Friday when we visit London. Watch this space .

Perfect location for Hyde park events, decent price. Chose private bedroom option which is on the top floor (level 3) no lifts presents: note not suitable for disabled. Staircase is a little steep and the final set the banister is very loose (temp repaired as you can see the screws) rooms are a little worn and could do with a re-paint. Nice fan provided in the room as it was very warm during the day and night here. Few hangers in the cupboard, two sets of towels provided. Nice tv with Netflix and prime built in. Bathroom light doesn’t work without the main light being on. Nice long mirror in the room to get ready. Window opens for some fresh air. Wifi provided but didn’t connect to unable to comment on signal but I’m guessing the tv was connected and we didn’t have any problem watching Netflix. Small bin in room and small bin in the bathroom (wasn’t emptied from previous guest with dirty sanitary items) plenty of power plugs and usb sockets. Small kettle with tea and coffee provided. Friendly staff on arrival. She mentioned it was 24/7 check in around 3pm and out by 12. Would recommend and would use again.

Dirty room, with holes in the skirting board stuffed with tissue. Shower was mouldy and dirty. The sink plug didn’t drain, the bathroom was so small the sink was hanging over your knees when sat on the loo and if you tried to bend over the sink to spit the toothpaste your bottom pushed the door open! There were repairs being carried out at midnight on a Saturday evening with banging and noise til 1am! I complained including providing pictures of the problem and got told it didn’t happen!?!

HORRIBLE HOTEL! STAY AWAY! We didn't have any water in the shower for 2 days and the reception/staff members simply says they can't do anything, and that there is no superior manager there to take action. No apology nor refund has been offered.

We had the worst experience, before arriving I contacted the property twice!!! Making sure they know and accept late arrival, everything was fine. Upon arrival, before even checking who we are, the owner (who just woke up because of us) came pissed, said they are fully booked and cant accept our reservation. He was very aggressive and rude. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. They tried scamming our money as well. Also, if youre jewish they will most def reject you, since the owner is muslim. Hard pass for us!!!

My partner received an email stating booking could not be taken. After the proposed stay date my credit card was charged. Calls to Oyo manangement result in long wait times, transfers and disconnected calls. Originally found the place on OYO before checking reviews. Like a scam
