Avoid at all costs .... . Firstly they were asked Ng £65 a night but on booking it was £19 cheaper Secondly on booking the room came with a private bathroom but in reality the bathroom was shared Thirdly the standard of the rooms is very poor and the televisions struggle to function In general it is a cheapish room in the central location, the staff are helpful but the hotel is not a hotel, the first three rooms I viewed had no decor and televisions did not work, one of those rooms had blood up the wall and cleaning and hygiene is non existent. The upgraded room was still poor decor and although the private bathroom was clean it was advacado green straight out of the seventies like the rest of this hotel The heating is on full permanently and window opening is locked mited in some rooms, to be honest a prison cell is the same size as the single budget rooms and dare I say it a lot cleaner .... Take a train from kings cross and travel 20 minutes you can get a clean room with functioning television etc and have change out of a £50 note, think outside the box If the rooms were reflected by the exquisite reception then this would be a different review
