ok value. has never let me down. even stayed with the wife pre flight back home to China! Location is good and very late check in allowed. Probably the best value budget hotel in London. It is self catering and relaxed feeling. Massive house, lots of room types.

Disgusting and unhygienic. I checked in at 5:30pm after my working day. And checked out by 8pm. First there was a spider dangling down from the dust filled walls. The carpet has a build up of dust that looks like white sand it’s so thick. There are stains on the bedding and inside the bath tub. The place smells and looks like it’s falling apart. The door is a standard door that made me feel so unsafe the lock was undone with one twist of a handle. I couldn’t stay I had to leave for my own safety. It doesn’t help that the carpet is old and smells then there’s a stench of curry throughout the building. The pictures they post must be a model apartment from the best part of the building because it doesn’t look like that at all.

I live in the area, and I had to book a two-night stay here, as my flat had no water. However, I did not dare to sleep here, due to the shocking condition of this place: everything extremey dirty, mould in the bathroom, dirty underwear and other rubbish found under the bed (see pictures attached), a screw used as a shower handle, and I could continue on and on... My room was in the basement to start with, with reallly poor ventilation and a fake window. The door was not closing properly, as the lock was fault. When I entered, one fo the two beds seemed used, and all sort of dirty found on the carpet under it, with the infamous pair of used male underwear being the highlight. The bathroom and shower was mouldy, but at least the water pressure was acceptable. No toiletris provided, except two small bar soaps and an almost empty bottle of liquid hand soap. In the Heath & Safety card hanged at the door it is written "Bank nearby" as designated assemby point...The only issue is that the Barclays Bank that used t be next door close down in 2017 and now there is a Cafè instead. Maybe it's time to update that card... Don't even try to speak wth a memebr of staff after 11pm...He is in the back office sleeping peacefully in his pijama, and the moment he steps out, he is really annoyed of having been disturbed. In the end, I was so disgusted, I decided not to sleep here. I really don't know how places ike this still exist in London, and dare to charge £70.00 a night (or more), without providing the minimum service required (no WiFi or breakfast option provided), Go to Travelodge or Premeir Inn, or a similar cheap hotel chain instead. At least you know what to expect and the price range is similar.

The only reason we stayed there was because of the great location. We stayed in room 9 and when we got in we checked everything. So the TV does not work, smells like dust everywhere, the WC was not clean, the shower was yellow and we chose to bathe using flip-flops. The doors are super fragile so the light from the corridor comes inside the room (it's a very small room) and the curtains aren't great since the light from outside comes in. The whole building needs to be restored, because it's literally not that hard. When you arrive at the reception it looks like you're in a ******* house. The furniture is dreadful or falling apart, just replace it and have someone clean the rooms properly! I would not stay there again.

Absolutely dreadful. Booked two nights and escaped after the first. Everything is broken, tired or dirty. A unhelpful and bored reception greets you after waiting outside for a while as the buzzer rings. Then it’s a trek up and down flights of stairs going outside and then back in, until you reach your cell. It was disgusting, someone had been smoking in the bathroom before us, the whole room smelt of cigarettes. Everything was dusty, stained and unclean. Cold tap doesn’t work, shower switches between scalding to ice cold am without touching anything, and does so continuously. Thin walls. Awful beds. The wardrobe was full of random stuff they obviously don’t have storage for in the hotel, two old mattresses in our corridor outside. Wallpaper falling off everywhere, screw holes everywhere. Either book refundable, or fork out whatever extra you need to.Do not stay here

On arrival at this accommodation was shocked by the appearance of the building, looked so abandoned…after gaining entry to check in the place so dirty and so run down … Went to the room to find full bars on outside of room it had the look of a prison cell ,on inspection of the en-suite it was appalling black mould everywhere on ceiling and around shower tray was appalling ,the radiator was also leaking on the floor .. It’s was shocking to think that these rooms are still available to rent ,and the pictures Advertised are not what I got as you will see from pictures I’ve taken … After check in I contemplated trying to find somewhere else to stay and couldn’t … I’d never stay here again it needs lots of money spent on it to freshen it up and needs a major clean up too .. Location was good

A hotel, if you can call it that, absolutely to be avoided, dirt and decay everywhere, dirty showers and bathrooms, dilapidated rooms, non-existent heating, a neighborhood to avoid. Don't be fooled by the price.
