Premier Inn London Putney Bridge

Stayed at Premier inn Putney Bridge Mon to Fri this week and was a great stay. Location is great for commuting into city centre to see the sights but nicely out to get away for some peace. Tube station couple minutes walk. Over the bridge to a great town with shops, bars and restaurants and bus stop right outside, perfect. We had room 116 which was a really big family room. Clean and comfortable as you would expect from the premier inn Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant 3 out of 4 nights and had no complaints at all food was good as was breakfast. The only negative I can say, which is not a biggy at all, is that the place could do with some TLC. Little tatty in places but nothing that affected our stay and we will go stay again. We stay in many premier inns and to be honest they have all been in need of TLC so its no reflection on the staff at all

Outside is disappointing but all the staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite. The room was clean and tidy, as you expect from Premier Inn. Cooked breakfast looked great but we just had the continental which was good enough. Very handy for the sights of west London

You can't fault the location, just 3 mins walk from Putney Bridge tube on the district line. Can't fault the view from my 5th floor room of The River Thames through the big windows. Can't fault the staff who did a good job whilst I was there. But the building itself and the fixture and fittings inside needs some serious investment. Looks dreadful from the outside, Entrance lobby looks like something from a 1970's leisure centre. Vending machine didn't work, one of the lifts out of service, extractor fan in bathroom wouldn't stop working, water pressure at the sink was so poor it took a couple of mins to fill. Add to that a restaurant that feels like you are in a basement, pokey with no character and you really do wonder why Whitbreads don't do anything about updating it. It could be a jewel in the crown for a London hotel. At least I only paid £58 by booking ahead. Any more would have been a total rip off.

london was amazon i will come back soon, the hotel was clean and staff very friendly.maybe i go next month. food was delicios , i wake up in the mornig and i drink a coffe with amaazing view:) this hotel is my number 1 , and the view also. great staff.

I stay at the Premier Inn Putney every couple of years and it’s a good experience. While looking a bit shabby on the outside, the staff are warm and welcoming and the room - I always book a river view room - are clean, the bed comfortable and it suits my needs. The only comment would be the shower water pressure could be stronger. However, value for money it’s great.

Room was wery comfortable and quiet. Thr hotel were careful to warn us that building work might be noisy nearby. Not a problem as we were out all day anyway. Breakfast was very nice.with everything freshly prepared. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Just what we needed for our long weekend stay.
