I stay at this hotel regularly for a couple of nights for work, and I appreciate its convenient location and the friendly, professional staff. These are the main reasons I keep coming back. However, there are a few significant issues that make the stay less comfortable, particularly regarding air quality. The windows cannot be opened, meaning there is no natural air exchange, and the air inside quickly becomes stale and unpleasant. The hotel relies entirely on air conditioning for ventilation. Additionally, the carpeted floors throughout the hotel trap odors and contribute to the heavy, artificial smell, which is made worse by the strong fragrance of deodorants and cleaning chemicals. This can be overwhelming, especially for those sensitive to air quality. On my most recent stay, I was initially assigned a lower ground room, which had an even worse smell and no windows at all. I was genuinely surprised that such rooms are even allowed, given the lack of ventilation. Fortunately, thanks to the helpful staff, I was able to move to another room, but the overall air quality remains a recurring issue in this hotel. While I continue to stay here for its great location and staff, I really hope the hotel considers improving ventilation and reducing the reliance on fragrance-heavy cleaning products, as these changes would make a big difference in guest comfort.

Excellent hotel..exceptional service, nothing too much trouble. Spotless. Staff very professional, courteous and very approachable. Easy to get to places by tube or bus. Vegetarian Breakfast available on request. Very quiet rooms…great value

Excellent location. Literally approx two minutes walk from West Brompton tube. Reasonably priced. However some things let it down. Some of the staff were absolutely excellent and professional but there were a couple who were not! Quite obviously totally disinterested in doing their job. Room was satisfactory given that it is a budget hotel. Breakfast was hit and miss I wasn't expecting 4 star luxury. I totally accept it's a budget hotel but generally food and utensils were not kept stocked up and self service area not cleaned as frequently as it should be at peak times, eg used teabags building up and spillages etc Coffee machine broke down on the 2nd day of our stay and still hadn't been fixed three days later. So it meant there was only hot water for teabags. Such a shame as this could so easily be rectified.

I stay in the hubs across London when I’m working in London. I love the compact well designed rooms that are comfortable and good value for money. I stay in West Brompton fairly regularly. However I’ve been really put off by the filthy state of the carpets in the rooms on my last two visits. Basically vomit stains. Really unpleasant and I would expect them to be replaced in that state. Wear shoes and be prepared to sacrifice a towel as a rug.
