Unfortunately not great experience, standard of cleaning very low, shower had mold and found a roach in my room.

Great stop for a pint and a laugh, then head updaters to the hostel where a lovely clean and comfortable bed is waiting for your. Low noise policy in place after ten pm, guaranteeing a good nights skiwear. Excellent choice for a central London hostel. Will definitely be heading back.

Good price value considering I booked barely a week in advance. It’s generally mostly guys staying there so you might not feel 100% safe as a woman (as expected) but everyone keeps to themselves so it’s perfectly fine. Staff is nice, location ideal, 10% off on the bar and food (burgers and tater tots are neat), gets a bit noisy for only a short window of time in the evening otherwise it’s pretty quiet.
Be sure to bring a padlock, flippers and earplugs (though they sell extras — towels, toothbrushes and paste, earplugs, charger adapters, and padlocks — for an honest price).
I reckon staying there as a group could be even nicer.
Definitely recommend.

I made a last minute reservation, the location and check-in were very convenient and fast. I am very happy to be in the middle bed in the 6-person women's room, I would like to be closer to the window on my next reservation
