Excellent location, close to the train station and in a lovely area. Shops and restaurants around, as well as many houses. Room perfect, courtesy tray with real expresso coffee machine, bed comfortable. And great atmosphere in the pub downstairs.

Another good stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice old building. Good pub food. Good value for a London hotel. Very convenient for the station into Central London. Some of the decor, windows in particular, are a bit tired and need replacing. Otherwise hihghly recommended.

We had booked one room with two separate beds. However it turned put the room was at the top floor which meant too many stairs for my mother to climb due to her knee problems. So the manager very kindly provided us two separate rooms on the first floor without extra charge which we highly appreciate. The pub is close to the train station but far away enough that one is not bothered by train noises. Really good connection to London City. Baths were newly renovated & clean. Highly recommended due to its location. I would visit it again.

White spotless bedding fluffy towels very clean room and bathroom, lots of extras in room teas, coffee biscuits crisps, chocolate, shower gel etc. Unfortunately the order for meals in bar took two and a half hours to arrive, spoilt the celebration,

Stayed here whilst celebrating with friends nearby. Found the experience a very positive one and so glad I didn’t book the other option I was considering. Friendly staff. Good beer. Great food. Comfy rooms. Close to the station. No more needs to added 👍

Very nice place. Nice staff. Very clean. Good food and good vibes. We stayed for one night and we enjoyed it. Delicious breakfast. Relaxed surroundings. The room is wide, clean, nice toilet and very comfortable shower. Easy check in. Easy check out.
