The Imperial Hotel

Great location and service. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly. The room was nicely appointed, with a safe and a coffee maker. Shower pressure was really good. Breakfast was great, busy but moved quickly and the staff were pleasant to interact well. Felt very safe and secure in the establishment. Will return and do recommend the hotel.

We needed a hotel with easy access to the Globe thearte so booked this hotel. The hotel was in a perfect location and we were in the West End via a 5min bus journey. We parked In the hotel car park which was so convenient with a few steps into the hotel reception where we were greeted by a lovely hotel receptionist. She checked us in swiftly and gave us all the information we needed. The room was excellent. Very very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the room was really quiet. We had an excellent nights sleep. Again at breakfast we were met by excellent staff who went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. I visit London a lot and will make this my regular hotel.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible! Its location was fantastic, offering easy access to all the attractions. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep each night. The room was spacious, providing ample space to move around. Plus, it was impeccably clean, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at this remarkable hotel!

For about 9 years I have had the pleasure of staying 3-4 times a year in this location. Since then, I have seen how the hotel, the staff and the facilities change before my eyes. It is a place where I return with pleasure and where the reception staff (Elena) is very kind. I think that the price has evolved more than the quality of the facilities.

While the weather is sunny, It isn’t that hot outside, but there is no air conditioning in any rooms and it is airless and stifling and much hotter in the rooms than it is outside. The Windows open very slightly, but not enough to make a difference. House keeping offered to bring me a desk fan but it took over half an hour to arrive, although it does help a little. The double room is clean and the usual average size for a London hotel, though the strip-lighting above the mirror is a bit harsh and makes the room seem dingy (which it actually isn’t). I’m on the 6th floor but there is noise from the central outside courtyard below ( especially with window open) The lack of air on would be a real problem if it was any hotter, or if I were staying for more than one night. Not recommended for a visit when the weather is warm.

Stay away from this hotel!!!! The worst possible service and staff simply ignore you. I was given a room (163) right next to the extractor fan of the kitchen. I asked for another room. The night manager promised to change my room. Only to go back on his word. Two nights in the hotel with no sleep. I am developing a case study for my MBA programme based on this experience on how NOT to treat customers.
