The house is old, the room and the bed are very small, the floor and the bed creak when touched, the windows are of a very old style, so old that I saw them for the first time for a person my age, the curtains are broken and cannot be closed, and there is a peculiar smell , the drawers of the bedside tables are dirty, and the front desk doesn't care about you. The only advantage is the location and price, but the price is only compared to other good hotels nearby. I think it's not worth it at all. this price

The location is unique, but the main road at the door is a bit noisy due to renovations. Because I accidentally fell and fell, the staff upgraded me to a room with a bathroom for free. I was very touched. Please convey my thanks!

The house feels like a shared house. I will definitely not live here next time.

The front desk was friendly and checked in at 10:00 in the morning. We were given a triple room. In London, a city with extremely high prices, such a convenient location is already very good.

The location of the room is very good, just across the road from kingcross station, no more than 50 meters from the entrance and exit of the underground passage. It is very convenient to store luggage. There are two service staff I met, one is warm and friendly, and the other is relatively cold. The aisle of the stairs is relatively narrow, the spring on the door is a bit too strong, it is a bit laborious to go in and out of the door and go up and down the stairs. The room space is very small, 26-inch suitcases can barely be opened, and it may be a bit difficult for 28-inch suitcases and above. The bathroom facilities are also relatively small, and the bedding is extremely simple. There is something running outside the room, constant noise.

I am renting a room with a double bed and a single bed. The quilt is clean and the mattress is comfortable. The room space is small, and the shower room is too narrow! The toilet light is an induction system, and the light is automatically turned off when you go to the toilet! After all, the hotel is too old and has not been significantly renovated. The room price is not worth it. The location of the hotel is opposite the King Cross subway station, and the Euston train station is just over 10 minutes away.

The two main benefits of The Belgrove were 24 hour staffing and excellent location. I didn't want to have to let myself in with a code. The staff were helpful and friendly. It certainly had an old fashioned boarding house feel, the room had the tiniest TV I'd seen in years, which we found it amusing. It had beverages provided and I could ask for extras. The sheets were cotton, which I was relieved about, and nicely made up, and the bed was comfortable. There was a fan and an iron could be borrowed. Shower looked like it needed some attention around the drain, which would only take a few minutes. If using the buses, it is only a very short walk from the bus stop. What would make the room instantly better would be blackout curtains. There is a theme colour, but lining them would be a massive improvement in keeping the room cool during the day and dark until opened. Two little bars of soap were provided.

A budget hotel but complimented by the staff. I went out at 6pm and stumbled back at 3am. Magi let me in the front door without an issue and was friendly and polite. Room was spotless I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again as I always get in late and Magi sold it for me. 10/10 would recommend.

Arrived to a friendly welcome from reception who gave us our room keys. The room (24) was small yet furnished with everything you need. Yes it’s small, yes it’s dated but it was clean, hot water and coffee/tea making facilities. Best part of the hotel was the location. A stones throw from the Kings Cross tube station. Good budget hotel and will definitely return. Thanks!!

The hotel receptionist was courteous and professional. Our room was compact, yet functional and had everything in it that we needed. Definitely worth the money due to the location, which is a stones throw away from Kings Cross & St. Pancreas train stations.

I stayed at the Belgrove Hotel as I was attending the remembrance day parade at the Cenotaph and needed somewhere convenient. My mate has stayed here many years in a row for the same reason. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and I had a great sleep. The reception staff are excellent, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable with regards to the area and travelling around London. I highly recommend this hotel and will be booking again for next year.

Stayed as it was cheap. Great hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower. Room is small but has everything you need for a night's stay - towels, bed, kettle. It is very loud outside so would recommend brining earplugs.

I have stayed at Belgrove Hotel a number of times in the past due to its great location being opposite King's Cross Station. My latest visit was for one night preceding an early Eurostar departure the next morning. Check-in was fine and I was in my room within a few minutes. I booked a double room which was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable, tea/coffee facilities were provided and a small TV with freeview channels. The bathroom was okay with a powerful shower, a small bar of soap was provided. I didnt have breakfast as I had to leave the hotel early in the morning. It is a very good budget hotel with nice rooms and only a few minutes walk from King's Cross/St Pancras.

Poor from beginning to end. Arrived in the evening. Very dark hotel. Emergency lighting on first flight of stairs not working. Fire extinguisher on floor ( hazard) The double room was the size of a rabbit hutch. Shower room smaller with exposed pipe work by toilet causing sewer smell. Bed most uncomfortable. Dividing walls to rooms hearing every noise. Bedroom window wouldn’t close. Accommodation on very noisy road. Felt like punishment staying here. I lasted one night , 2 hours sleep when I should have stayed 3 nights. Strongly advise to think again and read all reviews so many concur with this review.

June 2023 I stayed at the Belgrove for about 10 days in June 2023. The location is great - less than a minute to Kings Cross St. Pancras station - great for getting anywhere in London, and convenient for trips out of the city and to the airport. It's quite close to the British Museum - a "must see" - and an absolutely lovely walk along the nearby canal takes you to Camden Market. There are many restaurants and grocery stores in the station and the neighborhood, just steps away. An extra bonus: 2-3 mornings each week there were food stalls on the plaza outside the station, and it was very relaxing to sit on a bench with a fresh, homemade pastry and coffee. The Belgrove is an older building (not surprising in an historic city). While it's not fancy, it's very clean. I was in a single room on the top floor. It was very simple, with a twin bed, desk, small dresser and sink. The shower was right next to my room (and another just steps away), but I never had to wait. Likewise, there were at least 2 "single occupancy" toilets on my floor, and I also never had to wait. The one down side: there is no air conditioning, which I usually don't mind. But there were a few very warm days during my stay, when it was difficult getting to sleep. I believe breakfast is available in the hotel, but I always had early plans, so I missed that. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. In particular, I had an issue with running low on a prescription medication, and was couldn't arrange a refill via long-distance. A woman at the front desk helped me find a doctor and get the refill I needed. If you are looking for luxury, you'll want to look elsewhere (and you'll pay quite a lot more). But if you want a clean, comfortable room, with helpful, friendly staff, a great location and a good price, then The Belgrove Hotel is well worth a look.
