This was by far one of the worst accommodations I’ve ever experienced. The room was extremely noisy - windows and frames were so old they may as well have not existed. Every few minutes the entire floor shook due to the passing metro, and the street outside was constantly busy with traffic, day and night. The floorboards creaked with every step, the room had a terrible smell, and the front door didn’t feel secure at all. From the outside, the building looks abandoned and neglected. The bed was really tiny and uncomfortable, clearly not fit for adult use. The pillow reeked. No amenities were provided - not even the bare minimum. Customer service was either completely absent or downright rude and unhelpful when present. This place is a disgrace. I would strongly advise against booking it - it ruined my trip.

Lovely location, clean and spacious apartment.
Very easy directions to access the apartment, location was stunning, clean and spacious room. Had a small problem with the shower drainage which was resolved quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
The only thing I missed was a bedside lamp, although it is fitted with spotlights that illuminate both sides of the bed, but they were rather too bright if the partner was trying to sleep.

Great location 😃
I was my second time in the hotel and at same Room, overlooking Holland park avenue, and the small garden opposite.
The hotel is located close to the tube station, walking distance to Westfield in Shepherds bush.
Would be great if windows were double glazing, however most of London hotels are not.
Sure, I would stay there again.

Lovely stay at Holland Park
It was my second stay at St James House in Holland Park. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well supplied, the neighbourhood is lovely with shops and easy access to the bus and Central subway line. Excellent value.

Quick work trip and better than the nearby hotel!
Great location and well-equipped. However, it is a small studio (and the bathroom is tiny!) but for one person or a couple it's fine. The only real drawback is that since it is on the lower ground floor, you can hear the underground, other residents and street noise. Would stay again but prefer an upper unit.

We recently spend a few days in London. It was an online booking directly with them, i must say they were great arranging our booking and the online check-in. The room (room 2) was small but clean, a little stuffy because it was below ground and well located (Shepherd Bush/ Holland Park area). However, we cannot get over the size of what is called a regulation UK standard double-bed. What I found concerning was the response to our phone call we made, it was dismissive, rude and the person we spoke to was not interested in addressing the issue. We will be a little more careful next time.
