Absolute perfection. Loved my stay at Ham Yard. All the things you’d expect of a 5 star hotel, but at the same time a warmth and approach that makes your stay super relaxing. If you’re reading this, you probably know how beautifully Firmdale hotels are appointed design wise. My room was comfortable. Bed fab. A functioning window for fresh air. Great bathroom. Quiet hallways, can’t hear door slamming etc etc.. But it’s also the welcoming team on the door, so the breakfast staff to the desk - nothing a problem. Coming back from a long day and enjoying a G&T or cuppa in the indoor/ outdoor area was brilliant. I enjoy the SOHO location as you are close to theatres, food and shopping without needing a taxi. Whole foods market nearby too. Visited the spa before heading to the airport - also AMAZING.

It’s our 5th time in London and the 2nd time at this hotel. This time our son joined us for a soccer game. The hotel is perfectly located, highly designed, very nice and large rooms, but on top of all is the service. The team is very attentive, high level of hospitality, very professional concierge team, and can’t finish this review without mentioning the exceptional service from Ayman, who was one of the breakfast staff. From the very first day, he welcomed us with a warm smile, and we were shocked he remembered us from our last visit (2 years ago!). In the following days, he remembered our preferences, anticipating our needs before we even asked. His personal touch, kindness, and professionalism made every breakfast a real pleasure. Ayman truly adds to the welcoming atmosphere and high standards of the hotel. Thank you, Ayman – you made a difference!

We booked Afternoon tea here for 11th July. My friend had recently had tea here with a friend and enjoyed it. Based upon her experience we decided to go ahead and book we went for 1pm as it was a convenient time for us. Tucked behind The Lyric pub it was easy to find. Ham Yard is a 5 Star hotel and interior is stunning. We were seated outside in a courtyard area on a very hot day, we had some shade which made it bearable. The tennis was on I'm not a fan but my two friends were able to enjoy whoever was playing. We were served by a young man very attentive who offered us water and the usual up sell of fizz to go with our Afternoon tea. We declined straight onto tea sandwiches were served first very tasty finger sandwiches served on very pretty china. I'm not a fan of sausage rolls but it was tasty. We left a little gap asking for fresh pots of tea, no problem. Exquisite little cakes arrived served in a lovely little picnic basket, scones and jam too. We were also given a bowl of strawberries with cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our cream tea great service beautiful toilets love the wallpaper so pretty. Our bill arrived Afternoon tea was £53.00 each but there is a 13.5% service charge on top. Our individual bill was £60 each. The service charge is not advertised on the web page, quite pricey and for that reason we didn't order extra drinks. Choosing to go elsewhere. Highly recommended but do check prices if you book.

I recently went to the hotel for drinks. I have been many times before but it's probably been over a year since my last visit. The staff are super friendly and the hotel / courtyard still looks beautiful. But the one downside was the drinks themselves. The cocktail menu was....odd....and the cocktails were poorly presented, watery and bland. I sent back a tasteless Peachy Pride (with an awful plastic umbrella!?!) and it was replaced with an equally terrible sugary sweet lychee martini. Such a shame that this gorgeous hotel is let down by truly terrible cocktails.

Just come back from Sunday lunch - what a wonderful experience. Great food, excellent value especially as you get endless sides and a glass of wine included in the price. Ayman was our waiter and he was exceptional. Attentive but not too intrusive. Made us feel very special. Thank you Ayman.

This is a top hotel beautifully designed by Kit Kemp and very well run. The staff are excellent very attentive and polite. The breakfast was excellent very tasty. The room was large with a big bathroom with a bath and a shower. I would recommend this hotel highly.

I went for a drink with my girlfriend last night. We think this may well be the bets hotel bar in London! The design of the hotel is so unique, it doesn't feel at all like most larger hotels like this. Such a cool place and they make very good cocktails. We then went to Engawa across the courtyard which was excellent also.
