I have stayed at The Connaught 5 or 6 times in the last 2 years and the hotel is absolutely magical in every way. The food is glorious in In-room dining, The Coburg bar and Jean-Georges, the beds and bathrooms in the contemporary wing are just amazing and everything is just perfect throughout- the highest quality you will ever experience. There is something special about stay in a hotel in a major city in an area that you love, and for me, this is Mayfair village, right in the center of all the beautiful shops, gorgeous parks and lovely coffee shops. The hotel smells amazing with the amazing candles burning during the day, the lobby staircase is breathtaking, and the hotel is extremely grand, yet very comfortable at the same time. It is, however, the people that work at The Connaught that truly make it the BEST hotel in London, and if not, the entire world over. Nothing else can ever compare after you stay here. They are all so compassionate, so caring, utterly down to earth, friendly and have the human touch that is extremely rare to find in a hotel. A very special mention to the Front Desk Reception team, including Jose, Lucy, Paula, Andrei, Erica, Philip, and Kealan. They all have the magic touch. Over my many stays, they have become like an extended family and take exceptional care of me. It's truly another level. The butler Yohannes is extraordinary and seeing him each stay makes it even more special. The doormen, especially Adam, are all amazing. Concierges Ben, Volen and the whole team are incredible and know everything about London. The teams from the Food + Beverage outlets all shine very bright. Nic in the Coburg bar is lovely. Daniela and Ionut from the in-room dining are lovely. The afternoon tea in the hotel is amazing, with the most divine scones ever. I truly cannot say enough about the attention to detail, from the lovely welcome beverage to the nightly turndown with scented wax, it's all perfection. I can't wait to come back this summer! I could quite happily live at The Connaught. It's that spectacular! Thank you for always looking after me and see you soon in London. Sincerely, Patrick Winkler
