We were very well looked after by all staff and specially by vivian at the Restaurant , who has been very courteous. All staff was very polite at the Restuarant and allways with a smile on their faces. certainly we will come back to marriot hotel-park lane , next time we visit london. Food was excellent and service was good and even serving the Drinks was good and

High-end, classic hotel. Overall rooms and common areas well-maintained and elegant. Staff professional and friendly. What I did not understand is the intensive, and VERY slow check-in process. I checked in online (and have Lifetime Titanium status) and still went through this long process where the person at check in took each passport and slowly entered information into a computer. After a long journey the last thing I wanted was a 15-20 minute check-in process followed by waiting another 15 minutes for our bags. It was not a busy time, we were the only ones checking in. Overall, hotel nice, staff nice, but the check-in process was frustrating.

EXCELLENT AFTERNOON TEA I visited this place yesterday with my friend Belinda . The selection of little sandwich were delicious , the cakes were awesome , the scones the best ever. Thank you to Vivian for the wonderful service and for helping us chosing our tea.

Not a fan. It all started with a nearly 30 minute long check-in. Then, even though I have a very high status with Marriott and have spent thousands with them, I was denied a room upgrade. Attached you will find my lovely view of construction scaffold from the 1st floor.

Things were great once we got situated with the appropriate room but it took a conversation with a manager to clarify some unusual policies regarding the "executive lounge" only permitting 2 guests for an entire stay (even if additional guests were staying on a room) and an attempt to upsell us on a room when all we really wanted to do was just check-in. The room was air conditioned, comfortable, clean, well appointed and quiet. The location is perfect. It is expensive (London) but worth it if you want easy access to shopping in Mayfair, a short walk to the Mall, and of course the Underground Marble Arch station is literally around the corner. One additional point is that the actual entrance is not on Park Lane but on North Row.

The worst experience I have ever gone through, room wasn’t ready at time of check in, had to wait an hour till i got the room which was 5pm, the room given had stains on the linen, after bringing it to housekeeping managers attention, two other rooms were shown to us and both had stains and bad odors. We were then reffered to the night manager Nathan, extremely bad customer service and rude and the replacement rooms had larger stains on the bed linen. Very poor hygiene for a 5 star hotel, and no compensation offered a total of 6hours wasted with no satisfactory solution

Promises and excuses. As. Platinum member you would expect a better room and better service. Neither were delivered as location of hotel makes it appealing to many and with demand high your requests are neglected. You are promised a bigger and better room but usual excuse” Fully Booked” is used.

Very good location at the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane. All the best shopping within walking distance. I chose the executive room with club access. The room is fairly large compared to other London hotels. Bathroom with separate shower is a god sent. Their club lounge is very good; serving full English breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks and drinks like wine and beer. You can take a guest with you for no charge. The quality of the food and service is A1. Their restaurant Lanes with the bar is very good too. The icing on the cherry is that they have a swimming pool, health club etc for hotel guests. This is ultra luxury for London hotels and the best thing is that the hotel doesn’t cost too much considering the services it provides. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and it’s always been great. It’s on the top of my list of London hotels
