- good location, closed to both euston station and British Museum. can walk to the china town, soho, leicester square within 30 minutes
- the room is clean, has safety box inside
- can ask reception for tooth brush/paste and slippers
- toilet and bathroom are separate. weak ventilation in the toilet
- fixed shower head on the wall. if shower hose will be better

I cancelled my booking with this hotel due to my friend’s failing health but they totally refused to cancel and refund my booking… I didn’t lodge in the hotel, my friend who was supposed to be the second guest forwarded her health record but they still wouldn’t refund us. Trip said the hotel has to refund me, the hotel said trip has to refund me… they were both tossing me around and I paid a whopping £244…… DO NOT BOOK FROM TRIP . COM and DONT BOOK TO STAY AT TAVISTOCK. HOTEL When issues arise they won’t refund your money.

I have stayed many times at the Tavistock. This time is the first time though booking with Trip.com.
The review is genuine, Trip.com say they price match, I’m not sure that is 100% correct.
I have yet to compare the like for like. If there is a difference I feel sure Trip.com will honor their price match.
I find Trip.com a first rate system for hotels and flights.
