Travelodge London Central Southwark

The worst business hotel experience ever!! No mini fridge, dirty room, dirty towels, no toothbrush and toothpaste, need to get the hair dryer by yourself at the reception desk, only 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi every 24 hours… etc In the bathroom, the shower curtain is too short, and the shower area is too shallow, so the water is everywhere every time you take shower, absolutely unpleasant. Definitely not recommended and won’t stay in this hotel in the future.

Bhanu was very accommodating when late checking in, and provided Wi-Fi and breakfast as a way of making up for the shortcomings

Bhanu was one of the best receptionist we ever met and helped us with the stay and our room was lovely and the location of the room was awesome

We had 2 rooms for our family, Both rooms were without shower gel and we asked for this to be filled twice for both rooms and it never happened in 24hrs. Breakfast was truly terrible! The bacon and sausage was ok but all other cooked items were inedible. No one was booking you in for breakfast even though they had asked you for a time, anyone could have walked in for a free breakfast! One poor girl was running around trying to do everything while 2 men were either talking in the kitchen or the reception occasionally pushing a chair but not wiping tables or replenishing anything. I know this as I had to ask for more Tea, More Breakfast items and my table to be wiped. I am sure they were tired because they were the same young men that left us waiting at the bar for 15 minutes the night before even after us requesting service more than 3 times. So sorry we had to interupt their chat for service, must be so frustrating for them. I have stayed at Travelodge before and remembered it being less nice than your closest competitor but this was beyond bad. To say nothing good would be wrong as the room and hotel generally was very clean and had most facilities excepting shower gel. I can safely say I would need some miracle to happen for me to ever use Travelodge again!

Damp smelling bathroom, no body wash and the breakfast was terrible. Will not be returning to this travelodge for sure and possibly not a travelodge again. Premier Inn is better all round.
