Traveled down to London for the weekend to watch Moulin Rouge Really enjoyed the weekend, the hotel was amazing, very impressed, every member of staff was polite and very welcoming Only thing I can fault was a smell in our bathroom when we arrived back from the theatre (smelled like drains) seemed to go away when the shower was run.

On the first day, I arranged for the basement. I requested a replacement. The next day I changed the top floor of the fourth floor. The room size is OK, but there is no small refrigerator. Very simple hotel. Not very recommended.

We weren't sure what to expect as we had never stayed in a 'pod' before but we were suitably impressed. A few minutes from Picadilly Circus tube station, it was clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet & the shower was wonderful. Good quality towels & bedding. Toiletries included. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

we love staying here .. we had a new room , staff fab, amenities great .. no fault of hotel but was so noisy all night .. even 8 floors up .. cars revving .. people shouting outside .. led to a sleepless night … but hey ho one of those things .. paid for breakfast as did not book it .. fab choice and could eat as much you liked .. no complaints … downside .. towels were very small … and our toilet seat was broken .. but nothing major and we did not bother complaining about …

Room was clean and good. Lots of storage spaces for your stuff. Staff were really nice and humble. And location was really convenient and very close to Paddington station. The only downsides were room service and breakfast. We stayed there for 3 nights and they didn't even clean the room once, even after requesting them to. Instead they gave us bin bag to empty our own garbage bin which felt really weird. The breakfast was sooooo bad. We mostly had breakfasts outside even though we paid for breakfast (included with room booking). I felt they can improve the breakfast for the price we are paying. Even the cheapest hotels have proper English breakfast.

Very well located offering impeccable services. The room with terrace is really amazing. Good breakfast and bar.

At first we were put in the lower ground - the room was dusty, very small and the window would not open. When we spoke with the manager he moved us and was very accommodating with us - it was a free upgrade which we greatly appreciated and made our trip so much more comfortable. The new room was on floor 3 with a lovely view of the gardens opposite and was very clean. The location really sold this hotel for us - close to 3 stations, great pub on the corner, lots of places to eat in Notting Hill, 10 mins walk from Portobello Rd. The breakfast was not included as advertised, but it did not look appetising to us so we opted to go out rather than pay £7 to eat at the hotel. There are limitless options.

Great price for a stay in London. It was a nice room too, with everything you need. Only downfall was having to pay to hold luggage.

I turned up ready to put my legs up and rest before my early morning train. I was not looking for anything special but there is basic and then there is this! I was originally put in LG5 and told to go up the stairs, along the corridor and down the stairs. I followed the instructions but, not only could I not find the room, neither could a member of staff. Another one told me to go back along the corridor, up some stairs and down some stairs. I got to the staircase at the end of the corridor and it was blocked by piles of laundry and laundry bags! I went back to the reception desk and explained that neither myself nor staff could find the room. He agreed to give me a different one (a nicer one he said!) and said to go up the stairs and the room was on the right. He didn’t, however, give me a room number. I then started trying to get into the room on the right, then the next room on the right, then the next room on the right before I came up and went back to reception once again! He told me my room number and off I went again. I opened the room door to find a bed with no pillows or duvet and no bigger than a cupboard. I shut the door and headed back to the reception. I explained that I was not staying in that room and before I could explain why, he asked, “is it not clean?!” I explained that not only was it not clean, there were no facilities. He then snapped, “so, you just want to cancel this booking? Fine!” The carpets in the corridors were filthy, the staff couldn’t care less if they tried and the room was beyond basic. I left and booked the premier inn. Much better!

The location is really convenient. The distance to many tourist attractions is walkable. Also, the room size in this price range is very ideal. The lobby is quite decent as well.
