Many things were positive about the room / hotel - location / friendly staff / excellent kitchenette in the apartment / coffee machine in reception. We were surprised that the “double” bed was actually 2 separately made up single bed mattresses pushed together. Surely these should be zip&link and you should give people the option of a twin or double set up at booking? They were very comfortable though. By far the BIGGEST issue was that the air conditioning in the room was inadequate to cool the room - this despite it not having been that warm a day in May and a cool evening / night. Spoke to the staff on the desk at midnight who advised how to set the air conditioning on the lowest setting - won’t allow you to set below 18 on the panel. Despite this and maximum fan speed the room remained in the twenties temperature wise overnight resulting in all of us having a terrible night. We even tried to open the windows at 1am but the large sash windows appear locked and not possible to open. It was unpleasant enough that if we didn’t have two young children we would have been asking to try and change room in the middle of the night! When I checked out, I mentioned the poor night and got an apology but no offer of recompense. If you stay at a Premier Inn and have a bad night you get a full refund. I would have thought there would have been some offer to make amends but evidently not. Unless you’re happy to be very warm and uncomfortable over the course of the evening I can only recommend against staying. It’s a shame as otherwise we would have been very pleased.

Very central, big hotel. free coffee in.lobby. This Citadines didnt include housekeeping unless it was paid extra. There was no mention anywhere of this in hotel description during booking. I was at a Citadines 1 week before in Tokyo and there they had a choice, both free. According to London reception.desk it.was.because these are *apartments* (but so were the Tokyo ones) and they told TRIP.com didnt provide all info and they were not responsible. I was asked to leave a review on Citadines where I mentioned this issue to receive a very 'defensive' reply of reception manager after a few minutes. Its not a super big deal but the way London staff handled things is not like one would hope: very defensive and not very nice honestly.

The room was great, equipped with everything we needed (apart from no conditioner and air conditioning not working properly). The staff were friendly and helpful. In general, it was a great experience. The price was a bit expensive.

Lovely service apartment, I stayed here for 10 days. The location of the apartment is very safe, quiet and convenient. There are many good restaurants, coffee, shops, bakeries, supermarkets and bookstores within a 5-minute walk. It's a 10-minute walk from Ange Station on the black line. Everyone at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. I will stay again next time.

Let start with some positives:- Great location, very close to tube station, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The area is very safe with both foot and vehicle traffic, travelling as a solo female I never felt unsafe at any time of the day or early evening. The room was well appointed with all you needed in a well set up mini kitchen for cooking some meals, although there was occasionally a cooking smell in the hallways when other guests were cooking something very strong. The main areas, including a fantastic (app. required) laundry were always clean and tidy. There is a seating area adjacent to reception where you can make yourself a drink and relax. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom mid grade with hot water (more about that later) Now to the negatives:- There were two issues whilst I was staying here, one was no hot water for one weekend and no wifi for another weekend. Whilst these issues do occur I'm sure at other hotels from time to time the communication was poor around these issues, with staff not able to answer when these issues would be resolved. After quite a few to and fro's the reception staff finally found another hotel for me for one night so at least I could have a shower. Before I checked out I took the oppurtunity to sit down with Marco, the front officer manager to provide him with my constructive feedback about my stay and the issues including communication. Marco thanked me for taking the time to speak to him, and hopefully my feedback will assist management in future if issues like this arise again. Although these issues did arise and detracted from my overall happiness with the stay I would be happy to stay here again in future as long as issues identified are dealt with promptly and communication has improved.
