Fox and Grapes

Do not bother- really unfriendly staff- went in for a mid afternoon Sunday drink after a long walk, and having bought them she refused to allow us to sit down. Were testing it out as moved to Wimbledon and were thinking of using it as a ‘regular’ Tables were all set for the evening ( this was 14.30) and she offered us one bar stool to share and kicked my partner off all of the many empty tables. Disgusting. Lots of great pubs we have found around there that there is no need to give this one the opportunity to ruin your afternoon. Really disappointing

Being walking distance to Wimbledon Village and the AELTC was extremely helpful. The rooms were nicely decorated and the refrigerator was full of everything you would need for coffee, tea and breakfast items. Continental breakfast was delivered in a picnic basket left outside your bedroom door each morning with cereals, croissants, jams, jellies, cutlery and dishes. The staff were very friendly and the pub food was very delicious.

Beautiful location and stunning building. Very easy to find. The room was beautifully decorated with great amenities and lovely bedding. Very clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Average "It's an okay place located in a good area of Wimbledon. The staffs is friendly. My only constructive criticism is that they should pay more attention to cleanliness. In my opinion, it's not just about tidying the bed, but also giving a good clean inside and outside the room."

We had family over from South Africa a few weeks ago, there were 10 of us in total and we decided to take them to the Fox and Grapes for a late Sunday lunch (8th Dec). It was certainly a good choice. We had a very nice table situated in the alcove and were served by Natalie and Lenny and were very well looked after. Everyone enjoyed the food. The Roasts are well renowned and did not let us down and were excellent as usual. In fact, everything was super. My husband and I had been to lunch a few days before and had the fish and chips, again highly recommended. We are very lucky to have such a good local pub close by where everything is cooked fresh. We stayed for tow nights whilst visiting familyand it was really well priced, convenient and comfortable. Lenny welcomed us warmly and ensured we were always comfortable, he made us coffee in the morning and we were struck by how happy and efficient the young team of staff were. We booked an early family table for supper on the Saturday evening and the food was exquisite, top marks to chef. The restaurant was packed so at the end of the evening once the family had gone we slipped upstairs with two large glasses of red to watch television - bliss.
