Best Hotels near Alice＇s, London

Walls were not clean when we arrived and lots of cobwebs on door surface especially around metal frame. We had to check out at 11 so plenty of time for rooms to be cleaned and turned around. Bedclothes are extremely old and worn. They should be replaced as they look like they were bought and in use since the last century, an old relative is only person who I would imagine has such textiles. Beds were very small so again when was the last time furniture was updated. Bathroom was ok but very old shower. Overall the price vs standard of accommodation does not match up and I would recommend only visiting this hotel as a last resort. With more investment, it could be better as the location is quite good.

I was upgraded to a room that had a view as the one I was given originally faced a brick wall and with the new room was not disappointed. The room is well appointed but the reason I don't give it the highest marks for a 4star hotel is because if you want to make yourself a hot drink you have to get dressed and go down the corridor because they have decided to take away ammenities like personal kettles. I get they have replaced these things with 2 amps that you can plug a guitar into but there were no instructions when I tried to look it up (and I play guitar). It would be better served with a DAB radio and a kettle or some other sort of modern way to get hot water. Other than that, loved the products and the staff were really lovely and funny! At first we were put in the lower ground - the room was dusty, very small and the window would not open. When we spoke with the manager he moved us and was very accommodating with us - it was a free upgrade which we greatly appreciated and made our trip so much more comfortable. The new room was on floor 3 with a lovely view of the gardens opposite and was very clean. The location really sold this hotel for us - close to 3 stations, great pub on the corner, lots of places to eat in Notting Hill, 10 mins walk from Portobello Rd. The breakfast was not included as advertised, but it did not look appetising to us so we opted to go out rather than pay £7 to eat at the hotel. There are limitless options.

For the first time in my life, I live in the basement! Booked one month in advance, 955 yuan / night, live in the basement! The room is small and the breakfast variety is even less pitiful! The subway is also a 10-minute walk away, and there is debris at the bottom of the room! Not recommended!

Visit here often for work. The location is fantastic and the staff are always helpful and nice. The staff that work the Starbucks cafe in the lobby Ali, and Goitom always great me with a warm hello and go above and beyond.

Adore this hotel and always lovely to stay here and meet the friendly staff. Conveniently located near to either Maida Vale tube station (Bakerloo line) or St John's Wood (Jubilee) and a short walk to Abbey Road Studios, ”The Beatles” crossing, Lords Cricket Ground and Regent's Park. Not too far from Hyde Park/Marble Arch/Oxford Street either. Rooms refurbished since I was last here pre-pandemic and it makes such a different to them. Super clean, also comfortable beds and modern showers / bathroom. Bar and Italian restaurant next door integral to the hotel (Carluccios). Can get a glass of wine to take to your room after it's closed if you ask at reception (thank you). Not a great deal immediately around the hotel but if I'm away for work this isn't an issue as Carluccios is good enough. Even if on vacation, it's a short 15 minute taxi ride to Oxford Street. Wonderful breakfast choice in the morning also in Carluccios but run by the hotel staff. Everything you could imagine you would want for breakfast and a big enough space not to have to queue for a table. Seems a safe affluent area (certainly between the hotel and Regent's Park). And a nice old tin church on the walk from Maida Vale to the hotel! USB charging points in the (at least refurbished) rooms. Oh and in the summer on hot days they give you free ice creams!

I understand that you get what you pay for and we have stayed in an EasyHotel before (the one in Victoria) so we knew what to expect, but it could have been cleaner and better maintained. We stayed in one of the windowless rooms as we were just going to a concert at the Royal Albert hall and leaving straight away in the morning, so we really only needed a bed and a bathroom, so the no window wasn't an issue and made the room cheaper. We also knew that EasyHotels don't usually have tea/coffee facilities and the rooms are very small so there is no drawers/wardrobe etc. which we were fine with as we just wanted a cheap room for one night. My issue was with the fact that the bathroom sink appeared to not have been cleaned properly - there was makeup and hairs in it.. Also one of the walls around the mirror had not been finished painted so was kind of just bare concrete. Next, inside the room, the walls had big dents in them and the wall panels were kind of coming away from the wall which hadn't been fixed.. The walls are also quite thin and I woke up a couple of times in the night to noises coming from other rooms. Lastly it seemed like a child had put the bedding on - we had to put the sheet on ourselves as it had practically just been laid on the bed without being tucked in, there was a hole in the duvet cover, and the mattress was extremely lumpy with a big hole right in the middle meaning we were rolling into each other all night into this dip in the middle haha.. Another thing which bothers me (which is just a cosmetic observation really) is that the rooms are lined with that grey industrial lino you would find in a school corridor or hospital, they could have at least used wood-effect lino - same price but a much nicer, homey vibe. We were only there overnight so just around 9 hours approx. But still these are all issues which could be easily fixed with some proper upkeep. On a positive note the 24 hour check in is great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The TV in the room worked fine and we had no issues with the shower/toilet etc. Location is also easy walking distance from the Royal Albert Hall.

This is a very nice hotel, in a prime location. As I was visiting for a stint in the National Archives in Kew, it was ideally placed for me between That and the super busy inner city. The rooms are small but comfortable. The whole place is squeeky clean, which was more important for me than size - I did not plan to be in the room other than for sleeping. The area is teeming with nice cafés tto grab breakfast, which I usually prefer anyway to eating at the hotel. The rooms could do well with a small fridge, even though I am not a minibar user. The staff are super nice and helpful, I really felt welcome.

The location is really convenient. The distance to many tourist attractions is walkable. Also, the room size in this price range is very ideal. The lobby is quite decent as well.

Our room is on ground floor, is noisy esp when we turn on the shower tap. It always stress us when bathing, it will start vibrating creating very loud sound. The temperature is so hard to adjust. Room is pathetic small with no space to open the luggage. When checking out the staff actually told us we have an outstanding of $350 which we have already fully paid through Trip.com. Ridiculous hotel, will not stay again.
