Very difficult to find fault with The Lombok Lodge - its like a well-oiled machine that runs like clockwork, but with the added benefit of personal touches from the amazing attentive staff. Rooms are so comfortable with amazing ocean views. Restaurant food in the evenings is Michelin standard, all with roots in the local Indonesian cuisine. Lunches and Breakfasts also excellent and with Western options. A very relaxing place and we wished we could have stayed longer. Special thanks to Aida who looked after us well.

Absolutely amazing boutique hotel. We stayed in the 2 bedroom room with our adult daughter which was like having your own villa with all the services of a hotel. Food was absolutely stunning and the service was first class. There were also so many different options to do. We did the Bagno Di Gili which was a must, the southern beaches Lombok tour and a few hikes over our 5 day stay. Would have like to stay longer as there was so much more to do. Couldnt recommend this place highly enough.

This was our first visit to Lombok, and won't be our last. Staying at this incredible boutique hotel has opened our eyes to the beautiful area, the Gili Islands and the hospitality available in this part of the world. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with our 11 and 7 year old, and were immediately made to feel welcome, including the kids, with icecream passes offered. Our goal here for 4 days was simple.... experience turtles in the wild, and snorkel as much as we could. This was achieved beyond our wildest dreams due to the expert staff at the lodge taking us out over 2 days. What we didn't expect was the out of this world service and hospitality, food better than most 5 star restaurants, and a relaxing beach front and jetty offering our little ones plenty of time to play, explore and "save" hermit crabs. We have travelled the world and never experienced a team of staff so focussed on your happiness and enjoyment as at Lombok Lodge. Every little detail was considered and thought of. We are already planning when we can return. We cannot single a staff member out, as every person took their time to bond with us and make lasting relationships, however Juma (and band) and his musical performances will never be forgotten!!!

We’ve been coming here since 2011 and it has never failed to impress. The stunning design, the sense of seclusion, the environment, the service and the food all conspire to put this at the top of our list of favourite resorts. Its small scale means that it’s never crowded, and the staff always make us feel at home.

Best hotel ever. The staff, the owners, everybody was super friendly. The service could not have been any better. The meals are all delicious and the atmosphere makes it even better. Big shout out to Karim, the waiter at the pool! What a great guy he is! It’s like he had a sixth sense when you needed something. Ideal hotel to relax with the enormous pool. We will certainly come back! Thank you for giving us the best 5 days of our 16-day holiday to Bali and Lombok ! Sven & Dorien from Belgium

My family and I spent a week at the Lombok Lodge Private Villas. We had a wonderful time in all respects and highly recommend it. Innovative villa design with a focus on outdoor space, simplicity, elegance and functionality. A good example of ‘quiet luxury’ - everything you need and nothing you don’t. If they were to be faulted, for those to whom soft furnishings and big screen TVs everywhere are important, they may seem a little spartan. But if you’re looking for a break from all that, to reconnect with the elements, have a pristine beach right in front of you, and rows and rows of rice paddy’s behind you, then these villas offer something unique which we really appreciated. In addition to the Private Villas themselves, guests can visit its sister properties, The Lombok Lodge (20 mins away by car) and spend a day in Gilis, at the again innovative, Bagno de Gili, beach restaurant and lounge area. These were nice getaways for a few hours and these are many other excursions one could do if interested. For us, we wanted to reconnect as a family, reconnect with nature, have a beautiful space within which to rest, while enjoying superb food and be spoilt rotten, with a large, attentive staff. This included the best ‘butler’ we have had anywhere (Nyoman), some of the best food we have had in a secluded beach resort (thanks to Chef Jiwa and his well trained team), and an all round great experience (thanks to Pak Hamdi and the rest of his team).
