We recently stayed at Avani Palazzo Milan and we found it to be average. The Hotel is located in a area that seems to be residential, therefore, there is not much night life nearby. The Hotel was very clean, with all the modern amenities. Our TV was not working, however the hotel staff was responsive and addressed the issue promptly. The issue we had is that the shower drain was not working/clogged and despite the fact that we informed the staff, they said it was addressed, but the water was still not draining properly. The breakfast was mediocre, with just a few choices. Overall, not a bad stay, however it did not seem to have the 4 Star feel, as they advertise it is.

had a lovely weekend at this hotel in Milan, few minutes from the Garibaldi station, and the lovely little 1920's trams stops right at the front door. very friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful building, which was formerly the first railway station in the city, but has had an amazing refurbishment. the room was beautiful, lovely architecture, and stylish. we had a room on a duplex level, which was truly beautiful and amazing throughout. super quiet and cosy, great breakfast, in the morning and fantastic air conditioning which is definitely needed in Milan in August!

What a fabulous hotel in a great location with everything you could need for a long weekend right on your doorstep I was made to feel so welcome and cared for which is unusual in most city centre hotels-would not hesitate to return again and again, and to stay longer next time

We stayed for two nights on the 4th floor. The rooms up there are a little quirky (mini windows by the floor, skylights but we didn’t find that bothersome at all. The hotel was super clean and easy to get to from Garibaldi station (completely flat, short walk). Check in and check out was easy. The bathroom is tiny and has translucent, shiny doors which was a little unsettling. It would be hard to stay in that size room with a child, but for the two of us it worked fine. There was not a clear water refill station which combined with a better bathroom setup would have taken this to 5 stars. Overall we did enjoy the hotel.
