Weekly Boardinghouse

The weekly is in a great location, right above a grocery store and drug store and at the top of the pedestrian zone. Decor can be described as industrial IKEA. Housekeepers are very friendly. The important details: be sure to read the FAQ and house rules on the website before you book. You should be ok with weekly servicing of your room (including towels). A vacuum is available in the laundry room if you need to touch up the floors, which I certainly do after a day or two. Towels are thin and replaced weekly. The policies you receive on arrival state that a towel swap outside of the weekly cleaning can be done for 10 euros per person. Very small single bottles of combo shampoo/body wash are provided. No hair conditioner is provided. Hand soap is small bars of soap. The laundry room is only available for use after 3pm since it is also used by housekeeping. A quick load at 40 degrees can be done in an hour. Laundry soap is provided. One washer, one dryer, and one drying rack are available for communal use. I’ve stayed at most of the hotels in Lohr over the years and will return here, but I’m ok with a lower level of service and amenities. If you expect or need daily housekeeping, I advise choosing a different option.
