Stayed for 2 nights in different rooms. So the first night we were in the Las Vegas room. Bed was comfortable but had long black hairs on the sheets. The most frustrating part was the TV didn't work and the phone system was down. We called using our cell which was fine and the receptionist came to help with the TV. She couldn't get it to work but after messing with it I figured out they had the HDMI's mixed up so even though the instructions told you to select the input to Satellite you really needed to select Blue Ray. Not a big deal just a little odd a place with 4-5 separate buildings spread out like it is doesn't have a operating phone system. There wasn't a hair dryer so we had to ask to have that brought to us as well. The rooms are fun and a big reason to pay a little extra than a hotel room but the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. You no longer get to choose from a variety of options like they used to, now it's one entree and if you don't like it tough. Speaking of tough, the frittata or whatever it was we had was so tough you couldn't chew it. We left and had to go out to eat at a restaurant (The Crepery just down the street was good). They used to have these egg and ham croissants and fruit with yogurt and granola and 2 types of drinks. Now you get whatever they have to offer that day. We got a couple of moldy mushy over ripe strawberries and 5 blueberries with a egg, cheese, and potato thing you couldn't even chew. You get a better breakfast at a Holiday Inn. They charge $300+ PER NIGHT for the rooms we had and that's what they give you to eat? I would pay extra for what they used to serve. From now on if we go back I won't even want breakfast and maybe that's the owners goal. But then stop calling it a bed and breakfast and lower the rates on the rooms because what they charge now is not worth what you get. Some of these rooms haven't been updated in YEARS especially at the Logan location. The beds aren't comfortable and the pillows are cheap so we bring our own. The Jesse James room is it's own building and in January it's cold in Logan. There were no blankets on the bed and we couldn't find a extra blanket in the closets. We brought our own blanket so we were fine thankfully since the phones didn't work. But it's ok there is a gas fireplace....oh wait it's for decoration only!! it used to work in the winter time now they don't even have it hooked up and its for "Ambiance"??? Having a fireplace for ambiance only helps the Ambiance if it has flames! It's just so aggravating to see them make so many cost cutting measures everywhere. I get it they need to make a profit but it's getting ridiculous to see how many things don't work and aren't up to standard for a $300 a night room. Time to find a different place to go I guess after coming 3-4 times a year for almost 20 years now. Just sad.

We've been to various locations over our marriage of many years. Last night wasn't our best experience. I felt sorry for the young adults trying to manage their Logan, Utah location. We reserved the Taj Mahal room and upon initial impression it was a beautiful room albeit with worn carpeting. After about an hour reading directions and not being able to get the master TV to turn on I decided it was time to call the front desk. The phone system was out of order, leaving no recourse other than get dressed and walk over to the front desk a few buildings away and ask for help. A nice young lady at the desk offered to come over and see if she could solve the problem. She came over to our room and we both decided the TV was not working even though the outlet was getting power and the batteries in the remote were replaced. She offered to let us watch a movie in another room that was vacant a couple doors down. This room was called the Biker Roadhouse. It too was a nice room, though dated with a functioning TV and an old fashioned pin ball machine and pool table. The pin ball machine was broken and their were no balls with which to play a game of pool, but we were able to watch a movie. For the cost of the rooms, I think the owners could do better. When asked in the morning if they'd solved the telephone issue, we were told it had been a problem for some time, but that it was on the list to get fixed. For now they were just instructed to unplug the system and then plug it back in to try to get it to work. If you have problems getting them to the answer the phone at the Logan location, that is likely the reason. Overall we like the themed room experience, but seriously think the management needs to do a better job. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars and not 1 or 2 is we still enjoy the themed room experience and the staff was kind, yet powerless to solve the problems that lie at the feet of the management/owners.

My husband and I are both in our 70s. Ten years ago, he surprised me with a stay at the Anniversary Inn in Logan, Utah. On November 21st, he hoped to recreate that surprise by reserving the same room. However, the surprise was an understatement! When my husband retrieved the key and opened the door, we were immediately disgusted by the filthy carpet, stained with oil, dirt, and grime. Since it was a cold November evening in Logan, my husband went to start the fireplace, but the switch didn’t work, so we could not ignite a fire. Realizing that we could not stay in such a dirty, non-functioning room, my husband tried to call the front desk clerk, but the phone didn’t work and there was no dial tone. Unable to reach the clerk by phone, we went to the front desk to express our concerns directly. The clerk showed us two other rooms; however, to access either of these rooms, we had to walk up stairs that were covered in filthy carpet. Additionally, the paint on the walls and doors was cracked and peeling, and a rancid smell permeated the area. When the clerk opened the door to the first of two rooms, the first thing we noticed was that all the lamps and the phone were unplugged. Before we had a chance to determine whether the room was acceptable, she closed the door and said, “Let me show you something else.” The second room also had the same noticeable issues; the lamps and the phone were also unplugged. Additionally, the bathroom tiles were badly cracked, the stand-alone mirror had drippings on it, the towels felt rough, the window shades were inoperable in most windows, and three lightbulbs were burned out. The cost of the room was $200 per night, which was supposed to include breakfast delivered to our room by 9:30 AM. However, this never happened. By 10 AM, we decided to leave, realizing that staying at the Anniversary Inn was not just a bad experience, but truly a terrible idea. After driving several hundred miles to our next destination, I realized I had forgotten my nightgown in the room at the Anniversary Inn. I naively hoped that someone from the Inn would reach out as a courtesy to inform me about the lost item. To my disappointment, I found out that the employees at the Anniversary Inn do not offer that service, leading me to believe they would rather keep or discard items left behind. In summary, we have never been so thoroughly disappointed, and frankly disgusted, with a place of business as we are with the Anniversary Inn.

I was worried that this Inn was going to be kitschy as each room is decorated to the max following a particular theme. The room we stayed in was the African Safari and was well done. The bed was very comfortable as were the chairs to watch movies. One oddity is that no rooms have windows so it can feel claustrophobic. The other surprise was that the breakfast menu was limiting. I would call it a continental breakfast at best. You could only chose one entree, but biscuits & butter/jam was one choice, a croissant another. These are not entrees in my mind. You could choose eggs & toast. If you wanted bacon or sausage, you paid extra. Then for a beverage you got one choice - either tea, coffee, juice, or milk but not more than one. The breakfast is delivered to your room but comes with plastic cutlery & styrofoam cups. First, the environmental waste because there are a lot of rooms here, but this is a fairly expensive place, and i expected better. The Inn is walking distance to downtown and restaurants in the area.

The room was decently clean but the toilet didn’t work and when I called the front desk all they told me is to give it a minute it might take time to fill, it ran all night because the fill tube was bad. When we got our breakfast 20 minutes later than we were scheduled to the croissants were under cooked and doughy paid extra for a second entrée, biscuits and gravy which came stair out of the refrigerator ice cold when I talked to the receptionist about it she was discontent and didn’t care. Do not recommend for anyone way too much money for what you get.

I gave the following review directly to Anniversary Inn regarding our stay on 9/11-9/12. Have never had a reply from them. We stayed in the Southern Comfort room. So sad to see you drop from a 5 star down to a 2 star. Interesting that you asked for a review, as I left a note with the front desk at check-out of all the issues of this stay. We have been coming to the Anniversary Inn for 30 years, different owners, new rooms, updates to rooms and have seen lots of changes to the way things are done, what amenities are included and changes to the breakfast menu. I understand that times are hard and that changes sometimes need to be made. However, when you market yourself the way you are doing AND charging a premium for a stay AND your online presence shows a specific breakfast menu (the same one we enjoyed on our last stay in December) and yet you serve a breakfast that costs less than $2 for both of us? You've made changes and sacrifices in the wrong direction. We came to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, as we've always had great treatment at your locale and to be so terribly disappointed was hard. Room appeared clean however there were issues: #1. Started filling the tub when the water shut off, my husband figured out that the top of the spout had popped up and stopped the water flow. As long as he held it down, the water came out, if he removed his hand the water stopped. He then tried turning it a little while pushing down and that seemed to lock it in place. Unfortunately, while the water was filling, we noticed a used bar of soap on the other side of the tub, so it was doubtful if the tub had been cleaned- so no tub. #2. In the shower, the wand was gone, the tubing was there except the wand had been removed. (this makes your room appear even more dilapidated since a $25 part hadn't been replaced.) #3. There appears to be black mold in the grout and sealant around the tub and in part of the shower. It needs a good cleaning, and if actually mold, replacement. #4 The towel rod by the sink came off when lifting the towel off. My hubby hung it back on. (maintenance again, all you need to do is tighten the little screw at the base; your other towel rod looks close to falling off as well). #5 Your sign in the room states that there are disinfectant wipes provided - there were none! They were provided on our last stay. (Put 2 or 3 disinfectant wipes in a zippy bag for each stay if you're concerned someone will take an entire container). (These didn’t affect my rating) #6. 4 DVD's were left in the room. #7. Toilet paper - ok, not a deal breaker but a little info. Using cheaper toilet paper doesn't save you as much as you think. When guests have to use more just to take care of business you've literally flushed your 'savings' down the toilet. Use one of the big bulk stores brand toilet papers, you'll get the savings and lean more toward the luxury side of your rooms. #8- Burnt out bulbs - also not a deal breaker, just a maintenance issue. SO DISSAPPOINTING!!! We have stayed at the Anniversary Inn in SLC, UT, but this was our 1st time in Logan. We stayed in "Aphrodites Court" and WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Website stated it was a "King Bed" room...it was a Queen. There was a 10 INCH STEP down into the bathroom, creating a very dangerous "middle of the night" trip to the bathroom...the BREAKFAST WAS THE WORST!!! I have had better Continental Breakfasts!!! And it certainly did not meet the $300 (after taxes/fees) ROOM RATE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

e have been going to the anniversary Inn for years and really enjoyed it in the past. However this year it has changed so much. You pay so much for the rooms and they are cool but the soda in the machine was flat. The breakfast is not the same at all. They didn't bring us ice when we asked. The popcorn was 15 minutes late and the breakfast was 15 minutes early. They used to serve breakfast on real plates now it's half the size and all plastic. They forgot the butter and jam for my biscuits and they no longer have flavored creamer. The eggs seem like the powder eggs you get from a contiinental breakfast. Very disappointing.

TL;DR: We enjoyed our stay at the Southern Comfort room and would come here again to try the other rooms out. 8/10 My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had been to the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City before, so we wanted to see if there were other inns and what other rooms they might offer. My husband likes to surprise me with what's in the room, so he only told me to pick from a list of names and I chose the Southern Comfort (being that I'm from the south). Check-in was pretty simple, but this Anniversary Inn is structured differently than the SLC one. The SLC one is just one building with all the rooms inside, where as this one is multiple buildings that would differ depending on your room. For the one that we had chosen, we had to drive to a nearby, but separate parking lot that might've not been as clearly labeled as it should've been. We did take a picture of the map though at the front desk, which helped. With out room choice, it set us on the third floor with an outdoor staircase. The stairs weren't bad for us, especially since we travelled light, but if you have heavy luggage or struggle to get upstairs, we didn't see any elevator access. The room itself was amazing and actually quite bigger than the one we previously stayed at (The Meadow at SLC). It was appropriately themed (more for New Orleans south, but that's not a bad thing) and even had some entertainment activities. There was nice couples seating in quite a few places were we could eat or watch movies. We did ask if they had a bluray player in the room and they said yes, so we brought our own movie from home to watch. They do offer some movies at the check-inn building, but I recommend bringing your own. Though, just like the other place we stayed at, it has a fridge, but no microwave. That's really the only thing missing from these rooms. They do offer hot breakfast items, but it's nice being able to microwave leftovers as well. The breakfast was good though, albeit too small for my husband to be filled. The shower and tub in the room were great. The shower was walk-in and deep, even having a place to sit. The shower really needs some hand rails or non-slip mats though, because it is very slippery inside, both of us almost falling, including the sitting area. Towels can help, but if you aren't stable on your feet this could be hazardous. The tub was able to fit both of us and be quite deep. It's a little tricky to get into, but it has many features that were fun to use and relaxing. If you're short though, this tub doesn't have a great way to keep you upright without sliding further into the water. My husband is tall though and enjoyed the extra length for his legs. I won't post pictures of the room so they can be a surprise to others like how I was surprised, but this one we feel is just a little bit better than the Anniversary Inn in SLC, but only in some ways. Both are still good though and we'd recommend either of them!
