We’re just home from our 3rd stay here. It was a lovely as ever. Great room - we had the Rosedale - great breakfast (as always) and Julie is the best host, with nothing too much trouble. Most certainly recommend if you are looking for a place close to Whitby/Saltburn/Runswick Bay, Robin Hoods Bay etc

Spent 2 nights at Townend Farm enjoying visiting the North Yorkshire coast. Julie and Iain are very friendly hosts who offer a very high standard of accommodation. The whole place is very clean and well equipped with comfy beds and a lovely ensuite. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want and was exceptionally tasty. All freshly prepared and well presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. There is the added bonus of a lovely pub over the road.

Lovely welcoming place to stay, well-placed for sightseeing. Really comfortable and spacious, well-appointed room with excellent en suite. Hearty well-cooked breakfast served with a smile and lots of information about the area. Car parking plentiful. We'll be back!

Immaculate, stylish room, whilst cosy. Dressing gowns, great touch. Julie is a great host, and very informative of the area, nothing too much, and cooks a tasty breakfast, top quality produce. Will be recommending to family and friends, Thanks, Karen and Tony. The Tiger Inn across the road, food was also very good. Visited Saltburn, Staithes, Sandsend and Whitby, using the local bus, great regular service and cheap.

Needed to recharge the batteries and have just returned feeling refreshed and having gained a few lbs. Our host Julie could not do enough for us and we found her warmth and bubbly demeanour most attractive. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the dining area spotless. Breakfasts were sumptuous and filling enough to keep us satisfied for the day. Had our evening meals at the Tiger Inn opposite and never disappointed. Would recommend Fish and Chips at the Fisherman's Wife in Whitby. Finally a huge thanks to Juile for making us so welcome. Mary & Ken

We had the most wonderfull stay at this BnB. From the moment we arrived Julie and Ian welcomed us with the warmest smiles. Julie showed us to our room which was decked out beautifully. The decor and everything about it was immaculate with great attention to detail and with the interest of the guests in mind. We filled out a card the previous night with our breakfast choices. The breakfast was top quality with eggs from their own chickens. The view was to die for. Will tell all of our friends and family in Australia about this wonderfull BnB. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make our stay one to remember forever ❤️

A fantastic place. Warm,cosy,great breakfast. The proprietor Julie is a fabulous host. Cannot do enough for you. Very friendly and welcoming. My partner and I were up for Whitby Goth weekend and we found this place last minute when our previous accommodation had let us down. We stopped an extra night to make up for the day lost in the stressful circumstances. Bonus the black labradors are lovely.

Amazing facilities, close to everywhere and brilliant breakfast, top quality. This lovely couple quite literally saved us from sleeping in our car after being let down badly by our original booking.Yorkshire hospitality at its finest. So helpful and kind. Really knowledgeable about places to visit and places to eat also. Thanks you, you saved our holiday and we can’t thank you enough. We will definitely be coming back. X
