Completely disgusting lodge dirty floors windows, dirty hot area black tape covering all problems ie taped to a tv!, also around the hot tub bars!. Disgusting half decorated walls dirty splashes on walls, radiators that bang when on, brown stains in lights dust the list goes on. Shower areas dirty with grime Radiator also hanging off wall on arrival. All issues addressed only want to offer another stay disgraceful, do not book here.

Just ending our week here as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We have all had the best week away for our honeymoon! We used the restaurant 3 times and each time the food and service were great. Really pleased with the amount of activities for kids to do, and we enjoyed body zorbing as a family. Big shout out to James our activity guy! He couldn't do enough for us and helped to make our activity day super fun! Dont rate the swimming pool, a bit too cold, especially if you have wee ones! Our lodge was perfect, cleaned to good standards. Only downside was our boiler broke, and the guy that fixed it locked the boiler cupboard meaning we couldn't turn the heating off and we almost fried on our last night . Handy for drying my washing though! We will definitely be back!

We booked a family holiday to drimsynie with 2 lodges however on arrival there had been a mix up with the booking after saying that the receptionist and booking team were amazing and got us all sorted in no time at all .the accommodation was clean and just what was needed. Our grandaughters loved the swimming pool and dancing at the kids disco. They also loved doing the painting and decorating pottery. My son and daughter in law and myself went on the outdoor activities canoeing gyll scrambling and paddleboarding which were all amazing under the instruction of Scott who was absolutely brilliant well knowledgeable and we felt completely safe under his instruction and being a lady reaching her 60th birthday felt completely at ease. After a day of outdoor activities we went for a much needed spa treatment which was absolutely amazing . I absolutely love drimsynie and is my go to place to recharge my batteries the scenery is absolutely amazing. We ate in the view only once which was absolutely delicious and the staff were so lovely . All in all a wonderful family holiday and look forward to our next stay at drimsynie.

It’s just over 1 month since our party stayed at Drimsynie. We booked a 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub. One of our party arrived at check in to be told they didn’t have a 3 bedroom lodge for us because the floor caved in. No one thought to phone us to tell us ! We were given 2 x 2 bedroom lodges as they didn’t have any other accommodation for us. This meant our party would be split, not the holiday we booked. We thought we booked a relaxing quiet chilled weekend together, it was anything but! We declined both lodges as we didn’t want to be split up, they had no privicy and were in the middle of the thoroughfare. We had stayed in the 2 bedroom lodges before and we deliberately booked a 3 bedroom because we didn’t want someone sleeping in a sofa bed downstairs. The receptionist was very condescending when we refused them and couldn’t quit understand why we didn’t want an “upgrade” which it wasn’t. She didn’t know we’d stayed there before. They didn’t provide us with the holiday we booked so failed on their part of the contract. We were also lied to as we were told someone tried to phone us but got no answer. No one phoned! I’m not going to go into all the faults of lodge 10 that we eventually got, the management know our story, but we all had major headaches the whole weekend because of the strong smell of paint. They were not very careful when painting either. The lodge should never have been used, it obviously wasn’t ready for clients. They knew this because we were told they put a machine in to try and get rid of the smell. The purpose of this post is to highlight the lack of communication from Drimsynie. I’m still waiting on them to fully address my complaint. I’ve always had to chase them for a reply. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

What a wonderful week we had at Drimsynie The lodge Albatross 6 was superb, only 1 bedded but it was huge and so modern and thank you for the welcome box of goodies The staff were very helpful and we ate at the View on Saturday night, it was very busy and a little chaotic but the food was of a good standard The Rob Roy was busy, especially when Scotland were playing!! The grounds were immaculately kept and thank goodness for the wee shop The surrounding scenery is out if this world and so beautiful. We went to Inveraray which was very pretty , Oban which was nice and a bit more busy and the oysters on the quay were the freshest I’ve ever eaten Must go to Pucks Glenn , really stunning and a little spooky We had a wonderful break and thank you to Drimsynie for making the week so special

The standard of accommodation in this resort is awful. We stayed in one of the Lapwing 3 bedroom lodges, and the standard of the facilities was terrible. There is so much damage and wear and tear to the property, that the management have clearly tried to avoid addressing by painting the place (comically poorly) and continuing to charge exorbitant rates. From the damaged and stained flooring, paint covered fixtures, mismatched paint, badly marked radiators, paint covered screen doors in the bathroom, and the clearly in need of refurbishment furniture, the upkeep of the village has fallen flat. During our stay, it was not only cosmetic concerns which raised issues, but one of the toilets was also not working on arrival and we were advised to simply not use it as they wouldn’t be able to fix it while we were there (great for the member of our party with a bowel condition). The frontline staff were very attentive, and clearly doing their best in a difficult situation, but throughout our entire stay (and despite raising the issues), management stayed silent and I am still yet to hear from them with any meaningful response. I feel very sorry for the staff who are having to take the brunt of the concerns resulting from managerial failures. Even booking the place was a palaver, and resulted in the person who had very kindly gifted us a voucher for the property being treated very poorly by customer service representatives. I can only hope that at some point, managers will see fit to actually provide the person who has spent a significant amount of money with them, with a genuine response. Needless to say; we will not be encouraging anyone to hurry back to this place to spend any of their money! It is a real shame that the management and upkeep of the village has such significant failures, as the location is beautiful and it has the potential to be a fantastic place. I would say that there are other holiday villages in Argyll at similar price points, and with the same facilities, that have a much better standard of service, accommodation and customer care.
