Nice hotel in a lovely setting with great views and food is great although a bit pricey for what it is It's a shame about the irritating rude man with a chip on his shoulder (small chap, possibly the owner). Really rude and unhelpful to guests.

We went to the Crinnan hotel, the location is beautiful and the food was delicious. The plate of langoustines was huge, and tasted amazing. Sadly I don’t have any good comments regarding the waiter we had. There was no conversation, we had to ask for more drinks, didn’t get offered the menu for desserts, so didn’t bother. Didn’t get asked if we would like more drinks, or tea/coffee. Didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our meal ! It’s a shame that you serve great food, but your member of staff was so poor. I don’t know if you own the coffee shop next door ? We went there twice, the young lad running it is so friendly and polite, going out of his way to help his customers. The waiter could learn a lot from this young lad. Customer service is important, and failing to engage with customers results in lower spend from people.

This is a really charming hotel. It’s beautifully situated overlooking the water, with wonderful views. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous; we particularly enjoyed chatting with the two South African guys. A real highlight for me was the food: the local seafood was really delicious and everything was perfectly cooked, from the poached eggs to the sea bass. The public rooms are very nice, especially the bar and lounge. Bedrooms are a little dated, but very clean and comfortable, with very good cotton bed linen and good pillows ( there were actually loads of pillows, so bound to be one to your liking). I’d definitely return.

What a lovely hotel. So warm and welcoming, fantastic staff team, owner very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel at home and what was the best thing our doggo was made so welcome too. The room was great with s turning view and the biggest bed I've seen which was so comfortable. Beautiful touches like fresh flowers and stunning original art works everywhere. The food was devine, breakfast appetising with lots of choice and the seafood bar was amazing. Can highly recommend a stay at the Crinan Hotel

Stayed for two nights with my partner for his birthday. We both had such a lovely time. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking the water - absolutely stunning to wake up to each morning. The staff at the hotel were excellent, very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner and breakfast each morning and the food was outstanding- delicious! I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone and we are looking forward to visiting again and exploring more of the beautiful scenery around the area.

I had read some terrible reviews about this hotel before deciding I would take a risk and book. More fool me. Such was the shambles and the web of deceit however, I never actually managed to get beyond the booking stage. In short the hotel after a Fawlty Towers like exchange on the telephone withdrew an offer that was advertised on their website. It was I have to say an unsavoury and shambolic episode. I dread to think how badly the hotel must be run, if they manage to pee off potential customers before they can even make a booking. Perhaps I should have taken more notice of all those other terrible reviews after all!

Stayed for 2 nights for the art/music themed opening weekend of the 2024 season. Had a super time - we always do. Entertainment and staff were terrific - professional and pleasant. Food is first class. Love this eccentric, comfortable hotel.

This is my wife Candis and i's second trip to the Crinan Hotel. This Hotel seems to get better with every visit. We stayed for New year and it was Magical. This Hotel never fails to surprise me with outstandingly kind staff and incredible food. Everything in our room was perfect, my wife decided to catch up on bathing time as I'm not sure she took one step out of the bath between arrival and leaving. I did read a review talking about the size of the TV's !!!!!! first of all they are perfectly average TVs but more to the point no one goes to a place that beautiful to watch TV. in summary it was only our second stay at the Crinan hotel but will not be our last
