Pleasant, comfortable room with lovely Loch view. Good food although the place can get very busy in the evenings with quite a long wait. This was down to staff shortage and the dedicated staff work long and hard. Special mention to little Louisa for her tireless efforts. Well situated for visiting nearby Killin, Loch Tay and situated on the road to Glencoe. Good experience for a restful couple of days.

A great stay at the Clachan on our mini roadtrip in Scotland. The rooms had everything we needed for our short stay with all amenities such as coffee/ toiletries etc and had gorgeous views across the Loch . The hotel is in a gorgeous area, and the loch was so peaceful. A good base for exploring local areas. We enjoyed watching the watersports and eating the delicious home cooked food in the bar with a snuggly log fire. Staff were very friendly. Very clean and would highly recommend :)

A very comfortable and friendly hotel. Spacious room with large bathroom. Bar food very good with friendly service. Very good continental breakfast An excellent base for exploring local Munros Ben Vorlich and Stuc a’ Chroin just across the Loch.

A fabulous location, with a great view of the loch. Welcoming, and kind of them to let us book in early. But to warrant a five star review a few things need attention IMHO: The door to the gents in the bar does not shut, and one of the fixings of the loo seat is broken - gives a very bad impression at the start. The bar did not have any lemons, or toothpicks - ‘We’ve been meaning to get some.’ The Wi-Fi in our room was sketchy, and dropped out completely overnight There were (live?) wires protruding from behind the mirror in our bathroom and the temperature of the shower alternated between very very hot to very cold. And, lastly, the clientele all seemed to be hearty types in rain gear, who presumably need a cooked breakfast before hiking up a steep hill, yet it is not available, a shame because the coronation chicken sandwich at lunch was very good. It was comfortable, and the room was fine - it’s just the small things mentioned above that could so easily be fixed, yet sadly no one, seemingly, has bothered.

Stayed for 2 nights B&B. Beautiful setting on edge of the loch with stunning views. Rooms and communal areas all very clean and tidy. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast with plenty of fresh food. Only downside was the dinner menu which did not really cater for vegetarians. A few more options on the menu would enhance the restaurant.

The hotel is in a prime spot with stunning views right on the Loch. Perfect for water sports or if your like us, people watching with a drink. The room was clean (actually smelled lovely) comfortable and well set out. The staff were all very friendly but special mention must go to Seth and Gillian who worked their socks off in the busy bar making sure everyone recieved a warm welcome and those looking for food were fed before the kitchen closed. The only thing we didn't like so much was breakfast is (fairly priced) continental.

Stopped off for morning coffee on way to Callander and was suitably impressed so stopped for our evening meal on the way back. The chicken and haggis was very good as was the Cullen Skink and fish and chips. Great to sit outside enjoying the evening.

We visited the Clachan for lunch today and will definitely return. Great service from the friendly and welcoming staff. Food was very well priced, of great quality and tasty! Well done Chef. Extremely busy Bar and Restaurant with beautiful views of the Loch. Highly recommended.

This lovely B&B is in a really stunning location and recently been renovated, so it’s super fresh, clean and comfortable. Rhoda went out of her way to help us with our shower later check in (about 2am) and was so warm and welcoming. We stayed as friends were getting married nearby, but would definitely recommend to anyone exploring the area (which is beautiful!). Would certainly stay again.
