A fabulous location, with a great view of the loch. Welcoming, and kind of them to let us book in early. But to warrant a five star review a few things need attention IMHO: The door to the gents in the bar does not shut, and one of the fixings of the loo seat is broken - gives a very bad impression at the start. The bar did not have any lemons, or toothpicks - ‘We’ve been meaning to get some.’ The Wi-Fi in our room was sketchy, and dropped out completely overnight There were (live?) wires protruding from behind the mirror in our bathroom and the temperature of the shower alternated between very very hot to very cold. And, lastly, the clientele all seemed to be hearty types in rain gear, who presumably need a cooked breakfast before hiking up a steep hill, yet it is not available, a shame because the coronation chicken sandwich at lunch was very good. It was comfortable, and the room was fine - it’s just the small things mentioned above that could so easily be fixed, yet sadly no one, seemingly, has bothered.
