Southpark House

Very enjoyable stay. Great breakfast. Very friendly owner. Would definitely stay here again. The room was fine and the views from the conservatory where breakfast was served were lovely. Scrambled egg was delicious - probably had butter and/or cream with it.

Very comfortable stay, nice clean room, and a very modern bathroom. A really nice breakfast in the morning with an exquisite view overlooking the countryside. My wife and I (from Texas) enjoyed our stay here. Roomy car park as well!! You won’t be disappointed.

5 star stay - one of the best B&B you can stay at. Super friendly and helpful easy to get into town for food. Great facilities and breakfast was lovely. Plenty of outside space. Ev charging points. Went for a walk down the lane which was quite also near cycle route.

We enjoyed a lovely two night stay in a very well appointed room. The owners were very attentive and the freshly cooked breakfast was fabulous. The location of Southpark House is great for touring the Dumfries & Galloway region being only a 5 minute drive from Dumfries. Southpark House has plenty of parking and is situated in a tranquil, rural spot - fresh air and no road noise - perfect to get away from it all for a few days!

This stay was exactly what we needed. We are not holidayers and actually only live 20 minutes away; when we discovered widespread black mould in our Annandale home, we had to find a place to stay for a couple of nights at the 11th hour. Ewan coordinated to get me a key straight away so I could come and go as needed during a busy day. The house is beautiful, top to bottom, with absolutely lovely en-suites. It was such a relief to come to a clean and comfortable space. There is a small kitchen with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and crockery available for guests, which proved very useful for storing our dietary-specific foods and leftovers. Ewan and Donna’s hospitality was above and beyond. They even offered the sunny conservatory as a place for me to work all day on Tuesday (I work from home). They were incredibly understanding and generous — even when I realized I'd made a brain-fog booking error! Ewan checked in and went so far as to research our issue and offer his consultation. I cannot recommend Southpark House highly enough and will be booking again for family and friends in the future. Anyone looking for exceptional service and a warm and inviting atmosphere in Dumfries and Galloway should look no further.

Excellent overnight stay found by mistake but so glad we did ewan the owner was such a lovley man couldn't do enough for us rooms and guesthouse absolutely lovley breakfast was amazing would definitely go back 100per cent only downfall is we couldn't stay longer
