after baddest experience with ibis, I must admit this is a very nice hotel, just 5min walk from the train slation, just a little higher up, offering a nice view of the lake even from lateral hotel windows. modern ambiente, upgraded facilities, comfy lobby and fast WiFi, will chose this again in march.

Loved this hotel! Positives + Location (just five minutes walking distance from the train station) + Rooms (modern and clean) + balcony (large, facing south, wind protected, privacy protected and they even have a cushioned bench to sit on.) + Staff (very friendly!) + Breakfast (bread, yoghurt, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meat, coffee and tea) + View (You can see the lake and the mountains) + Quiet (High quality sliding doors that stop any traffic noise from coming in but there's not much traffic in the evening) + Beds (Large double beds with separate mattresses) + Ticino card is included which means all public transport is free in the area + Reasonable room rates Negative - I wasn't a fan of the foam mattresses. I highly recommend this hotel and just want to thank all of the staff for their excellent service.

The bad experience started with the receptionist who doesn’t know her job, she asked us to pick up the extra bed from the storage since she feels tired and not in the mood; than our booking included the parking which was not available once checkin, adding to that their manager who was angry because we claimed for our connected room a request which was not respected. As a summary of their unprofessional behavior and race discrimination; he entered our room without permission and when we went to pick up our luggage from the car we were shocked that he canceled our reservation with an excuse of non show. He asked us to raise a claim to *********** platform used for reservation and after all he refused to refund our money. So disappointing this is not the Swiss hospitality, we wonder how they can have the permit to open.

Freundliches Personal , Zentral oberhalb des Bahnhofs Locarno gelegen. Ca 5 min zu Fuss ins Zentrum. Schöne , saubere Zimmer. Café machiene und gratis Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Das zimmer , war etwas ringhörig. Die Aussicht , auf den See war sehr schön. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nous avons passé 2 nuit avec un ami dans cette établissement. Les chambres sont très propre et les lit confortable. L’hôtel est tranquille et très bien placé ( 5 minutes de la gare à pied ). Le petit déjeuner est standard mais convient parfaitement. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la sua posizione comoda, vicino alla stazione. E' stata una decisione saggia perchè ci siamo trovati benissimo. La cortesia nell'accoglienza, sia in fase di prenotazione telefonica sia al nostro arrivo sul posto, sia durante la nostra permanenza ci hanno favorevolmente colpito. A questo va aggiunta la tranquillità della posizione e delle camere, l'abbondanza e varietà della colazione, la professionalità del personale. E' senz'altro consigliabile. Come lo è una visita del caratteristico centro storico di Locarno: un gioiellino!

Pour passer 4 jours dans la région nous avons choisi cet hôtel car son emplacement est idéal à 3 minutes de la gare, 5 minutes du lac et 10 minutes de la grand place. La chambre choisie avec un beau balcon était située au 4eme étage et donnait une vue sur le lac. La chambre était assez grande et la salle de bain toute neuve. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et varié avec des produits salés et sucrés. Le parking couvert réservé était très accessible. C’était un très bon choix.

Buon Avvento a tutti...siamo in un periodo in cui speriamo di essere tutti più buoni...speriamo ne abbiamo bisogno...io un primo risultato l'ho ottenuto...nella mia ultima recensione avevo chiesto l'upgrade...e come per incanto questa volta l ho ottenuto...hotel sempre perfetto sotto tutti gli aspetti...grazie al cambio ancora qualcosa in più...BUON NATALE...
