Residence Albatros

We stayed in this residence the last week of the month and the discovery was truly pleasant ... I did not expect to be so surprised ... the residence is equipped with delightful apartments some of which have a beautiful sea view ... beach 2 steps away ... comfortable and beautiful: a private and sheltered cove of white sand and a clean sea clear and always calm !! a dream bay equipped with everything, umbrellas, sunbeds and deck chairs and pedal boats and canoes available to customers. Well organized restaurant with excellent fresh dishes. clean place and cared for in detail with lawn, flowers, palm trees .. everything very beautiful. the staff is welcoming, helpful and very kind especially Nicoletta and Sandro. A special thanks to Francesca who allowed us to stay in this splendid dream place ＜3 we will come back to visit you - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Great structure, exceptional beach, the beach service is very well served. At the restaurant we enjoyed, very much, the grilled fish, and the fried food. Family atmosphere. Very polite Francesca and Stefania, we will be back soon.

I waited a little before writing this review because I am still enjoying the wonderful moments spent in this residence. I will make a small parenthesis.... We booked both myself (with my husband and 13 year old daughter), and a couple of our friends (also with children aged 13/10). Upon arrival, Mrs. Francesca welcomed us, who had the apartments ready for us even before the scheduled time and this allowed us to immediately enjoy the sea, which is just a short walk away!!! The wonderful sea is right there!!!! The structure practically has a private beach made up of only 3 rows of umbrellas. The houses are very clean and in working order... so there is no need to bring cutlery or utensils. The sheets and towels are changed once a week (maybe it would be better to do it twice a week... but in my opinion, just ask). The place is suitable for families with both large and small children (in 15 days we NEVER found rough seas!!!!). We also really appreciated the fact that the facility provides residents (unless booked by outsiders), 4 canoes and a pedal boat for free use (obviously those who use them cannot occupy them for hours). If you don't feel like going out or cooking in the evening, there is a restaurant with excellent cuisine always in the facility. In addition, at Albatros there is a small market with basic necessities.... If you have to do a larger purchase, a 10 minute drive away you will find the Conad. If I really have to find a fault... I would recommend improving the gas burners (flames too high even when set to minimum), and the shower mixer to be revisited. For the rest... TOP!!!! I would have given 10 stars if I had the opportunity to do so. I will return here next year.... Relaxing holiday directly on the sea (wonderful!).

Il residence gode di una posizione molto buona, affacciato su una baia esclusiva con mare cristallino, tipico della Calabria. Dal punto di vista paesaggistico è davvero suggestivo, e questo rappresenta sicuramente il suo punto di forza. Tuttavia, al di là del mare, il resto dell’esperienza è stato piuttosto deludente. • Il ristorante è risultato scarso nella qualità dei piatti, con poca attenzione ai sapori • Le casette sono il tasto dolente: arredamento vecchio, stoviglie trovate sporche, presenza di formiche e, soprattutto, un bagno con un forte odore di fogna che si propagava nell’intero appartamento se si dimenticava la porta aperta – rendendolo praticamente invivibile. • Gli spazi comuni sono invece ben curati e il parcheggio è disponibile all’interno della struttura. • La spiaggia è bella ma poco curata: i lettini, ad esempio, venivano lasciati sporchi di sabbia da un giorno all’altro. • Punto a favore: la disponibilità gratuita di pedalò e canoe per tutti gli ospiti. Va segnalato che nei dintorni non c’è nulla (come spesso capita in Calabria), quindi è necessaria l’auto per spostarsi e visitare i paesi vicini, che però si sono dimostrati poco organizzati per gestire l’elevata affluenza estiva – ma questa è un’altra storia. ✅ In sintesi: • + Posizione, mare, baia privata, attrezzature gratuite in spiaggia • – Casette vecchie e sporche, bagno maleodorante, cucina mediocre, spiaggia trascurata Conclusione: Ideale solo per chi cerca il mare e poco altro. Potenziale alto, ma nel complesso l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative.
