Nice and clean facilities with a range of amenities close by including a nice shopping centre (Gables) and a spa. Great hike run out of the lodge which takes about 2 hours and is a nice way to start the morning. Kind and helpful staff.

We really only overnighted there but would have loved to explore more. THe setting is attractive and there are many hikes starting there. There is a great pool and the staff are fabulous

We camped in the grounds of the Lodge while we were on a World Challenge expedition. The staff were very helpful and eager to please. We used the self catering facilities which were very good, they also laid on endless hot water for drinks. A lovely facility with some lovely lodges to stay in if you did not want to camp. some excellent food in the restaurant as well, very well priced. Recommended. Ken Findlay UK

The room was beautiful and the setup was on point. it was very clean and smelling so fresh. The problem is that we didn't have a microwave in the room it was very inconveniencing cause we had to go to the kitchen to warm to warm our food.

The location, the lodges and the people make the difference! Maybe a bit expensive, but the location makes it worthwhile! The infrastructure was very clean, maybe the shared kitchen can be cleaner! But people and personnel are so lovely and helpful

I booked directly with Lidwala Lodge and my experience, from beginning to this review request have been nothing short of amazing. Friendly staff. No request to much and communication was spot on. I never had to guess and what was going to be. All was outlined. My group loved staying with you Lidwala. Thank you for your hospitality. This wonderful lodge received our group with such kindness. It's located near all the action, close to the cultural village and traditional dances. They have braai facilities and a shared kitchen, which saved us. The restaurant was amazing. We had a lovely experience and would go back in a heartbeat.

Home away from home and wonderful accommodation at Lidwala Lodge. The food was just excellent with the surrounding landscape amazing. The reception staff was very courteous and bubbly.
