A good stay for 4 nights. Rooms are modern and not cluttered, wooden floors. Tea/Coffee facilities in rooms are supplied on request. Food was excellent and the staff were professional and very helpful. Manager was outstanding in her role.

Remote with lovely grounds, suit people who like being far from everything. Continental breakfast with view of duckpond and gardens, rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Had to ask for a kettle but fan and hairdryer provided.

I recently stayed here, whilst on a coach tour. It is in a lovely location and the grounds are excellent. It is very relaxing staying here, it has an ornamental pond with koi in. The hotel is very clean and modern. My room was very nice, the dining room has a superb view and the food is excellent. The staff are very nice and very helpful. I will certainly be staying again. It is ideal for a nice peaceful break.

Coach trip to the Tall ships race in Dunkirk. What a lovely hotel ,.Set in a lovely small town and in beautiful grounds .Service was excellent and the staff were polite and efficient. Breakfasts were always good and the three course meal we had on one night was well presented and very tasty. Thank you all.

Literally just leaving this charming hotel - all the staff were friendly and attentive nothing was to much trouble- the food was amazing on par with what we’ve had at 5 star hotels around the world- lots of choice of drinks - it’s in a lovely position with bars and restaurants around should you fancy eating somewhere different- the beds are firm ( which I like) our room 7, was spacious with 2 lovely large windows- the bathroom could do with updating but it was satisfactory- spotlessly clean everywhere- if ever I was back in the area I would definitely stay here again

Stayed here for 3 nights on a Leger Battlefield tour. Didn't know what to expect after reading the differing reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The bedroom was basic but clean. We didn't spend much time in the room but the beds were very comfortable and the shower was brilliant. Breakfast was typically continental but also with added scrambled eggs and bacon. There was something for everyone if you weren't the fussy type. We dined at the hotel and the steak in mushroom sauce was the best I'd ever had. Beer was reasonably priced at just under £5 for half a litre of Jupiler. The staff were very friendly and also very attentive. I would definitely stay here again 👌

Absolutely horrendous. Where do i begin? Firstly, rooms were riddled with mosquitoes and mould, which is a sever health and safety issue. Bed sheets were all stained, some looked like blood. Breakfast was tidied up and ran out very quick. But according to friends who woke up at a ridiculous hour in order to have it, they said it was horrible! They had no rules, as all night kids were running around and ding dong ditching us. To be honest, it completely ruined my trip. The bathrooms were as basic as basic can be. I understand this not a 5 star hotel, but a three star should have a working tv, clean bedsheets, rooms and bathrooms and at some toiletries at least soap (none of which we got). As well as this, towels should be included and there should be a 24hr reception which again there was not! We asked for the wifi (which it says it has) but there was no one around to ask or anything to tell us the password. I did not see one member of staff throughout my whole stay. Although not mentioned in the description, this is definitely a youth hostel! I am disappointed to say the least. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
