Fabulous hotel for my daughter and myself! Great reception staff! Beautiful rooms. Delicious breakfast. Spotlessly clean. We upgraded to. Sea view and was well worth it. Will definitely stay there again.

Having paid for half board for 6 nights in a “4 star hotel” we had high hopes for the hotel. When we checked in, we didn’t pay the extra 20 euros a night for the sea view room, and we’re given a room with a side view of the sea, overlooking an alleyway. The room was okay, but the cleanliness wasn’t what you expect from a 4*. Crumbs and dust under the beds, lamps at the side of the bed were thick with dust etc. There were no bottles of water in the fridge etc which you expect when abroad. The pastries/fruit & cold options at breakfast were lovely, however the hot options weren’t fantastic unless you like watery scrambled eggs and hotdog sausages & chicken goujons or chips for breakfast. The evening meal we tried the first night, then ate out every night after that. There were very limited options, pasta which never tastes nice when stood about being kept warm, fish and pizza, but we were in Spain and didn’t want basic English takeaway options really, we expected better of the evening meal options. We had an issue part way through the holiday (which was no fault of the hotels) of the guests next door to our room banging on our door at 3am and trying to get in. When we left the room in the morning they’d been sick all over our door. We were moved to a sea view room free of charge, which wasn’t much cleaner than the first room, with peoples greasy footprints still on the balcony glass, and muddy footprints on the wall. You’d expect housekeeping to be wiping these off in a 4* hotel. Rooftop pool was amazing and amazing views, and the location couldn’t have been much better. Overall it was okay, but we expected better from the hotel. Not sure how it’s classed as 4*

The staff members were friendly and helpful, the maid did a good job with cleaning our room, and I personally thought the beds were comfortable. We didn't pay to have breakfast or dinner included with our stay but we payed 10 Euros per person to have breakfast the first morning we were there. It was an all you can eat breakfast with several options and the food tasted very well. The pool was nice but the water was extremely cold. I am sure during the summer it feels good but during the fall it's better to just enjoy the view.

Like the majority of seaside hotels, this hotel has not been refurbished, but it was very nice. The room we had was a sea-view room, and it was bright, spacious, and serviced every morning. The staff was great! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfasts offered a lot of options, and we appreciated that different menu items were available every morning. We don't really recommend the dinner, as you can find better options in nearby restaurants (you can read about them on my page). There is also a nice sun terrace which is great for sunset pictures. In overall, a very nice experience and if we come to Lloret again- we will book this hotel.

Fabulous hotel, location and staff. Had a corner sea view room on the 2nd floor which was perfect and included a free safe! Really nice shower gel, soap and body moisturiser, which smelt lovely, plus earbuds and nail files! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is second to none, right in the middle of all the shops, restaurants etc… but quiet at night. The pool area is lovely but we went to the beach everyday. It’s a bright modern clean hotel, cafe attached and popular tapas restaurant practically on the beach. The sunbed hire is very expensive (24€/day for 2 people) and not close to the water, so we bought a large umbrella (15€) and lay on the beach, right in front of the sea. The ‘sand’ is very very small glass type beads and REALLY comfortable to lie on as it moulds to your body, much more comfortable than the beds and easy to stick your umbrella in too. However, it makes it a bit tricky going into to the sea but I soon get the hang of it, I only fell in once! If you have small children, go to the far right of the beach, there’s no slope there and rock pools. I would definitely recommend and will be going back to the Miramar, it was excellent. One word of warning: book a taxi before you go!!! Girona airport is tiny and there were no taxi waiting that weren’t booked. My phone wasn’t working, the next bus to Lloret was 4 hours, so we waited an hour and a half for a bus to Girona, then waited nearly an hour for a bus to Lloret…. it took 4.5 hours to do a 30 minute taxi ride! Ring the hotel before you go and they’ll book one for you.

Excellent Hotel very relaxing the staff were very pleasant and helpful room small but clean and comfortable rooftop pool is great and food was excellent. Hotel is right on the beach and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The hotel was lovely and clean, when we arrived and were given our room, it was dark and depressing. It overlooked an alleyway, so I went straight down to reception and asked if we could upgrade, this was facilitated quickly and the extra money was paid. It was so well worth the extra, if you are ever staying here, get a room overlooking the beach.
