Hotel Astoria Park

This place is an absolute disgrace. Constant noise, hostile atmosphere, and ill-intentioned people everywhere. But the worst part: a staff member actually insulted us. Yes, you read that right. Instead of solving a problem, they disrespected us with an aggressive and unacceptable attitude. And because they think we don’t understand them, they feel even more entitled to be disrespectful. I had never experienced anything like this in an establishment supposedly offering a service. On top of that, the food is disgusting, and the rest of the staff, when they’re not rude, simply ignore you. Zero professionalism, zero humanity. The only exception is the cleaning ladies, who were truly kind and attentive. They are the only positive thing about this place. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my worst enemy.

No no no don’t do it, The hotel is old and stinks of tobacco smoke, the food is dreadful we have all inc. but have had to eat out! The staff, well reception are great, the bar great but the dining room noise and attitude is awful. The walls are so thin, you can hear the neighbours doing everything! Central location with a rooftop pool and spa with bar, very nice. The tv when plugged in blows the main room fuse but we found out it only has Spanish channels however😳 the air con isn’t air con it blows warm, we had to ask to change rooms🤔 WiFi is ok but often goes down🥴 All in all go somewhere with proper food, clean, with pleasant staff, unless you are a backpacker in which case this will be luxury!

I qas apprehensive about this hotel given some of the reviews. But I didn't think it was a bad hotel. Yes cleaning could improve and my room did smell of drains some of the time. The bed however was the comfiest I've slept in! Even better than my bed at home! The food was average, standard buffet but the scrambled eggs were delicious Location was not bad, very convenient for me! Everyone was friendly and helpful.

There was a employee called Sergio and he was great. He was very polite and helpful, doing me a big favour and went out his way to do you so. Great customer service makes you want to book again, so thank you sergio for this. It’s good to see that people still have a good heart.

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF STAYING HERE! Zero star should be one of the options on here, please do not waste your time or money booking this hotel, but if you want to get stoned for free this hotel is a good option for you, never in my life have I seen such rude staff especially the receptionist Joanne no time for complaints and when I pointed out the fact that the hotel was full of ***** I was told "go tell the police" JUST SHRUGGED OFF when I asked for a glass to take up to my room I was told very rudely by the bar man, "No" as I did not buy from the bar, you can not use the glasses if you did not buy from them, when I questioned this at reception I was told pretty much the same thing they do not like you bringing your own drinks not even for your own room, the room was pretty basic but clean there is a big crowd of locals that gather at the front of the hotel drinking they were out there most of the night so didn't get much sleep as they were quite loud also found them quite intimidating so i did not go back out, I did not eat at the hotel but I did take a look at the buffet again don't waste your money unless u like eating bowls of made up meals that resemble sick they must just throw together whatever they can find spare in the kitchen, yes I did read people's reviews before heading here but I always like to try things and find out myself and what a big mistake that was the place was so bad that I only stayed the one night and managed to find a much better hotel down the road
