This hotel wasn't the best. Very outdated and poorly kept. The staff aren't the friendliest people. Dirty carpets and rooms. The reception is lovely and makes you think the rest of the hotel will be to this standard but you're in for a surprise

Not the best rooms and interiors to our hotel which was not the main building, quite dated with scruffy carpets and paintwork. We stayed bed and breakfast and maybe that's why we had zero amenities, no kitchen or kettle etc.. Only a very small pool and sunbed area but I suppose this is what you get in a city hotel. The main road next to it is a bit noisy at time with plenty of sirens going past regularly and large trucks and coaches. Our room was the closest to the road though. They come and change the bedding and empty the bin almost everyday, just not much cleaning to go with it. But for a cheap and cheerful place it's not the worst. There's much more to do and see in the area than hang around in here.

I'd like to try and provide an honest review here and give this hotel some context. Probably like many, the horror stories in the one star reviews would have probably put me off had I not already booked. However to offer context, I'm a fifty something lone traveller and merely wanted a last minute cheap break and was prepared for whatever the cheapest option threw at me. I couldn't quite believe the price offered for a three night stay so booked it without looking at any reviews and I'm glad I did. A positive on reading the reviews was how the management responded to even the worst reviews and that I believe was a clue to what this hotel is about. They are definitely not pretending to be something they're not. To put it bluntly this is a budget hotel offering basic amenities, it's a no thrills opportunity to base yourself in Lloret de mar and go and explore what the rest of the resort has to offer. Because my expectations were so low I was pleasantly surprised and the hotel and my room fulfilled my needs. The room was clean and basic, the beds adequate and the bathroom served its purpose. So, OK what were the downsides. If you're after a modern aesthetic appeal and want to be wowed by the internal decor then perhaps this is not for you. Think 70/80s package holidays and this will be more your scene. Once beyond the reception and bar area you'll notice that not a lot of effort has gone in to refurbishment and the rooms though tidy are very basic with dated furnishings. The shower head attaches to an attachment above the taps on the bath wrapped around with a basic shower curtain. As many have mentioned yes the walls are thin but I have to say I slept well without any noise disturbances. However I was on the fifth floor at the end of the corridor so nicely tucked away. I'd imagine the noise may be a problem if you're stuck on the third floor in between rooms and noisy guests returning late. The balconies are uninspiring almost facing each other with little view and you can hear the resident DJ playing 80s hits to his few listeners. On to the food which many have complained about. I only attended one breakfast but have to say I was again pleasantly surprised. Food at a buffet always has the risk of being cold but the small Spanish Sausages, bacon and beans were hot. I've had worse at some of our Premier Inns. OK not a gourmet selection but again for what it is it serves a purpose. I know some prefer to go full board but with the bountiful choice of superb restaurants in the resort why not treat yourself with the money you've saved booking this hotel? I didn't use the safe, TV or the bar but these have been covered in previous reviews. I also didn't use the pool and spent all my time out in the resort enjoying the beach, the sea and the many bars and restaurants so I'm probably not best to comment on the amenities. I would say with the pool tables, table tennis and resident DJ in the bar area the focus is possibly on the younger generation on a limi

Rooms are basic. WiFi is good. Food is what I expected from a 3 star hotel. Not gourmet, lots of salads, meat and fresh fruit. Wine and drinks were good, we did not have to queue at the bar in in the restaurant for a table. A euro deposit required for the recyclable cup which clearly cuts down on waste. 3 euros per night for the safe, plus a 10 euro deposit which was returned on checkout along with the 10 euro deposit for the remote control for the television. The pool is small What I was most disappointed about was the group of young footballers ranging from approx 11 years to 15 years who were staying in the annex where we were located. There appeared to be a lack of supervision from their group leaders, the 'children' were throwing chairs from one balcony to another making a lot of noise which lasted until after 3 am. I understand they were spoken to by security but carried on. This is a hotel not a hostel. I understand the teams took a floor each. On balance we enjoyed our stay, it did not exceed our expectations, cheap and cheerful, most of the time

Could not fault the place for 3 star. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly, food was good for 3 star. Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms cleaned every day, and fresh towels given. Very good location for a short stroll to the beach or to the shops and cafes Negatives- if your room is near the lift you can hear it during the night. Walls are very thin, so no good if you have loud neighbours. Didn’t use the pool area- so no comment

Little less than an average hotel. To start, the FOOD isn’t great, especially at lunch or dinner. It’s mostly just pasta and salad. The food is also quite cold most of the time. However, we loved the breakfast. It had the same things everyday such as eggs, beans, sausages etc, but sometimes had pancakes and churros. For us, the DRINKS were okay. You had to put a €1 deposit down for a reusable eco-friendly cup, which I thought was a great idea. However, the cups are only about 200ml which are quite small. The beer is alright, standard. The coke is good. However, they do have a cocktail machine, but they don’t come out the machine alcoholic, so you’ll have to ask for alcohol to be added. Hence, when I did they, they filled up half the cup and it was undrinkable. At lunch and dinner, you can get soft drinks, beer, wine and hot drinks. Recommend bringing your own mug for hot drinks as they are small! In addition, you can only go up to the bar for yourself, you cannot order other people drinks! Overall, the drinks were okay, but sometimes just a pain The ROOMS were clean, and to what standard I expect for what I payed. You don’t get a duvet as such, just a thin bed sheet to use as a blanket. While the beds were clean, the bathroom was disgusting. There was a lot of rust in the incredibly small bathtub, and the sink had cracks in it. If booking a double room, don’t expect a double bed, you will get 2 singles pushed together and these are the only options. The electrics in the room weren’t safe. The plug socket was hanging off the wall, and right above the bed. Lastly, you needed to put a €5 deposit down to hire the tv remote otherwise it won’t work. You also need to put a deposit down for a lock and key for the safe. We didn’t do this, just kept our belongings safe. The BAR area is okay, for sitting and having a drink. However it isn’t the biggest and can get crowded. The all inclusive bar is 10am-11pm, otherwise drinks can become quite expensive for those on anything else. Pints were about €3.50. there isn’t exactly any entertainment, just a great DJ! We didn’t visit the pool as it was tiny and not enough sunbeds. What makes this hotel great is the location. It is a 10 minute walk to evening, the beach, shops and bus station. We were able to get a coach into Barcelona for €20 each, however definitely book in advance as it gets busy. There is buses about every half an hour. We got to the station at 10am and all the buses were filled till 2pm. The location of the hotel is very ideal. I would stay here again for the location, however booking this hotel you have to remember you’ve not payed much so don’t expect luxury.

Checked in at around 2am local time on Monday 3rd June. We were welcomed by an extremely polite and friendly receptionist who made nothing too much trouble for us! We were tired from a long journey and couldn’t find anywhere to eat at that time, he did his absolute best to help us! Think his name was Ray? The room was clean and the bed was ok. Not the best but comfortable enough to sleep in! Spacious room with balcony, not sure what the point of the divider was though as they all have huge gaps inbetween them so no privacy, but we were lucky to have no neighbours so weren’t that bothered. Breakfast was good, lunch was okay, dinner… eat elsewhere if you can for dinner! Food is about the only thing that lets this place down. Yes we weren’t expecting Michelin food but a lot of it was inedible. I think prisoners eat better? I’ve been to worse hotels with very high quality food so they can definitely improve and keep profit. Even the Paella was awful and we were in Spain! The pool is very well maintained, it’s just a shame the sun only hits it for a few hours a day, so if you don’t get the corner spot you won’t see much sun. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, and they did their best. Just a heads up for the people who like to stick to the resort, this hotel may not be for you! ALL staff were amazing! The bartenders were the best who even made some off menu cocktails as a last day treat. The cleaners were so polite and thoughtful. Receptionists will always go above and beyond for you. Night time entertainment was fun, wasn’t much of it but it was still fun! Very relaxed atmosphere. Just to add, hotel is situated close to everything! Short walk from town and the beach! Worth what you pay for and we’ll likely be back if we visit Lloret again!

Quick, last minute. All inc. Couples 4 night/3 day beach vacation. Booked through the Holiday Discount Centre. On arrival the entrance & reception area was clean and airy. Met by 2 friendly members of staff. Allocated a room & availed of the safe. €10 deposit refunded on return of the lock & key. We were allocated a room on the 4th floor, Block B2, serviced by 2 working lifts. The room. Double & single bed, wardrobe & separate shelved cupboard. Desk, table lamp, tv (remote available as per safe deposit) Air Conditioned. Small balcony with table, 2 chairs & ashtray. Sliding door, curtain & shutter door. Bathroom had a bath & overhead shower/shower curtain. Sachets of shampoo & small soap bar. Beds had next to each a 2 pin socket, (so if you haven’t already, get your travel plugs). Both working, no electric shocks. Both beds comfortable & clean. Balcony small, floor structure & the dividers between rooms. Definitely need addressing & updating. Big crack in our balcony floor (still safe, but) and all the dividing balcony panels between each rooms. Cracked & gapped in the middle. Basic but clean room, cleaned daily & towels replaced fresh daily. €2 deposit for drinks tumbler (not glass) refunded when same returned. Local beer, wines, juices etc included in the all inclusive option. Snacks (toasted sandwiches) also available (all inc) at times, as advertised in the hotel. Can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t avail of it. Lunch & Dinner options. Meat (pork, chicken dishes) fish, cold salads, pasta & sauces, pizza, paella, chips, onion rings, fish fingers, nuggets etc. Bread rolls. Cheese & ham sliced. Salad ingredients all available. Deserts:- cakes, rice pudding, another desert, biscuits, jelly, fruits & tubs of ice cream, available. Whilst food may not stay piping hot (If you can’t find anything to eat in all that, then I don’t know?) As long as the bed & room was clean & comfortable. We ate there & other places. It was more price & base for us. We like to get out & about.
