Little less than an average hotel. To start, the FOOD isn’t great, especially at lunch or dinner. It’s mostly just pasta and salad. The food is also quite cold most of the time. However, we loved the breakfast. It had the same things everyday such as eggs, beans, sausages etc, but sometimes had pancakes and churros. For us, the DRINKS were okay. You had to put a €1 deposit down for a reusable eco-friendly cup, which I thought was a great idea. However, the cups are only about 200ml which are quite small. The beer is alright, standard. The coke is good. However, they do have a cocktail machine, but they don’t come out the machine alcoholic, so you’ll have to ask for alcohol to be added. Hence, when I did they, they filled up half the cup and it was undrinkable. At lunch and dinner, you can get soft drinks, beer, wine and hot drinks. Recommend bringing your own mug for hot drinks as they are small! In addition, you can only go up to the bar for yourself, you cannot order other people drinks! Overall, the drinks were okay, but sometimes just a pain The ROOMS were clean, and to what standard I expect for what I payed. You don’t get a duvet as such, just a thin bed sheet to use as a blanket. While the beds were clean, the bathroom was disgusting. There was a lot of rust in the incredibly small bathtub, and the sink had cracks in it. If booking a double room, don’t expect a double bed, you will get 2 singles pushed together and these are the only options. The electrics in the room weren’t safe. The plug socket was hanging off the wall, and right above the bed. Lastly, you needed to put a €5 deposit down to hire the tv remote otherwise it won’t work. You also need to put a deposit down for a lock and key for the safe. We didn’t do this, just kept our belongings safe. The BAR area is okay, for sitting and having a drink. However it isn’t the biggest and can get crowded. The all inclusive bar is 10am-11pm, otherwise drinks can become quite expensive for those on anything else. Pints were about €3.50. there isn’t exactly any entertainment, just a great DJ! We didn’t visit the pool as it was tiny and not enough sunbeds. What makes this hotel great is the location. It is a 10 minute walk to evening, the beach, shops and bus station. We were able to get a coach into Barcelona for €20 each, however definitely book in advance as it gets busy. There is buses about every half an hour. We got to the station at 10am and all the buses were filled till 2pm. The location of the hotel is very ideal. I would stay here again for the location, however booking this hotel you have to remember you’ve not payed much so don’t expect luxury.
