Apartaments Condado

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. They asked for a €100 cash deposit at check-in, which I paid. When I checked out, they returned the deposit in cash. Today I was shocked to find out that one of the €50 bills they gave me was fake. I only found out when I tried to use it and the shop called the police. It was a very stressful situation and completely unacceptable. This experience made me lose trust in this hotel. Be very careful if they ask for a cash deposit.

Stayed early October for a week. Hotel is situated on a major traffic intersection next to a petrol station, so yes it's noisy, what else would it be . Place has brilliant supermarket underneath it and a fenced in floodlight barrier controlled car park or park on street. 100 euro deposit on arrival fair enough it's in the booking terms. Didn't have much interaction with staff as we were touring round Catalonia but they were friendly with plenty of greetings coming and going. Pool is on roof clean lots of sunbeds and the usual pissed Brits just like home . Apartment was large clean with well equipped kitchen and a pleasant little balcony. 3 big bags of towels changed in the week. Ultimately you get what you pay for and this place was cheap and well worth it. As I say used it as base for touring and it was fine.

Stay away from this hotel if you want to relax and unwind. Large groups of Dutch, German and French teenagers run riot through the halls at night, throwing chairs, beer cans, water bottles and rubbish from their balconies onto the streets below. During the day they took over the pool area with anti social behaviour. I asked on three occasions if my family could use the pool at their sister hotel, we were refused twice but on the third occasion the receptionist along with the security guard argeed that we could, but unfortunately with only 3 days left this was too late as our holiday was already ruined. The apartment was clean and spacious but that's were the pros stop. When I asked a man on reception for a bus time table to Girona I was directed to the bus station (20 minutes walk away) to get one. None of the receptionist wore name badges. Stay away from this hotel unless you are aged between 17 and 20.

Went on a girls trip, fourteen of us across two apartments. The apartments were great and perfect for our needs. Rooftop pool was a highlight! No bar but supermarket downstairs and pubs nearby. Reception were supremely helpful. Totally recommended for a group like ours and would return for a similar sort of trip.
