Hotel Metropol

The hotel excels in cleanliness, modernity, and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the beachfront location and varied, delicious breakfast. Some highlight the ample storage and beautiful sea view.

The hotel was ok, we booked thinking the rooms were air conditioned as it said in the description, however it is just a vent above the door and isn’t an actual ac unit, it was ok to sleep in but not what i expected at all. we booked a double room which was quite small and it was still single beds even though we paid extra for double. the safe in the room didn’t work, our room didn’t have a balcony and wasn’t anything like the pictures advertised which was quite disappointing. also very very very noisy on a night!! people shouting and banging on doors all through the night not very well sound proofed, i didn’t complain to reception as i guess it can’t be helped by them just people coming back and being noisy! but it sounded so rowdy like i was stood next to them! me and my partner have also come home with a lot of bites this could be from anywhere though maybe not just the hotel… not sure. also the pool is very small which you can see online but it’s uncomfortable when there is a group of other people in the pool you can’t really use it …the deck chairs up there are very unsteady and wobbly too i didn’t even dare to sit on it. also advertised on love holidays as a romantic hotel… don’t really see how, just a room to sleep in if you can get past the noises through the night.

Room was lovely & cleaned everyday other then we wasn’t allowed AC on but they would have it on in main hotel areas so that was very uncomfortable to sleep in at night. We had some take away food and woke up to ants everywhere in the room. Breakfast looked amazing and the bread & pastries were incredible but all hot food was barely warm which was disappointing could have been perfect if it was hot. Staff were helpful and friendly great Location just in front of the beach and minutes from multiple restaurants.
