I knew we were in for a treat the moment we entered through the gate. The entire hotel is a special moment. It doesn't matter if you are at the front entrance, driving up the grounds, standing at the top of the stairs to the spa, or sitting on the patio for dinner - the architectural detail combined with the natural element construction creates a thought-provoking moment. The view from every place I stood could have been the cover of Architectural Digest. And then you get to your room. Our casita, 29 I believe, had everything you would need to live a comfortable life for the rest of your days. Want to soak in the tub? Want to shower inside, but with unobstructed sky above? Want close comfort with your partner, but also separate sinks, closets and storage space? Its there for you. Want it all with powerful minimalism so your mind and thoughts can fill the empty space? Also there for you. What if you want to step outside or you room onto a natural hardscape surrounded by native plants to have a glass of wine while enjoying the view? Its there! And that's just your room. Want yoga or mediation in the morning? Complimentary. Want a fresh, organic breakfast curated from local farmers and artisans? Complimentary. I've truly never experienced a more rejuvenating place to stay. As the name suggests, you'll fall in love with this little corner of Arta. Thank you for making this a beautiful stay for our honeymoon. We are forever grateful for this experience and look forward to coming back again soon.

I visited this hotel with my teenage sons. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Our treble room was large and the additional put up bed amazingly comfortable...which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Breakfast was amazing and allowed for the pickiest of eaters with a wide range of fresh foods on offer. We knew the hotel was 'popular' with German guests but we had not anticipated being the only English people in the hotel or having to order breakfast in German...all of which was quite amusing. Whilst there were several polite exchanges in English and German we did feel quite isolated. However, I fully appreciate that this is not the hotels fault. I would return, but probably without children.

I hated, hated, this place, I wish we’d never stayed there I’m sure that the actual hotel rather than the annex that we were in must be better, it has to be better. Ok some may say that the breakfast was adequate but obviously not me. Now that we’re talking about the breakfast, here are my observations Lots of people doing nothing whilst the guests wait, Ok if you’re giving the owner a T shirt you may get better service or if you need aid with planning a cycle ride then maybe he’ll drop everything to accommodate. What really got me was the time to get a coffee, the shot glass size glasses for juice and the leftover, dehydrating, disappointing cold meats and cheese offerings. Now we’ve covered the breakfast, let’s address the annex (not the hotel), our room seemed nice enough until you opened the window and smelt the drain by the pool (small plunge type thing (the pool not the drain)). But it was OK, the maintenance man was putting 99 % acid into said drain to fix the smell (99% acid that close to a pool, where people walk around in bare feet?!). Note before moving on, acid didn’t fix the problem, strange “bubbling” the next day. The room:- Problem with shower door Room could be cleaned up until 4 o’clock in the afternoon One window no curtains - you woke with the sun No phone in room, so when you had a problem you had to go to the hotel, note, most of the time no one on reception, so you then have to use your phone to phone their mobile. Oh the laundry room (I nearly forgot) directly under our room, you get to enjoy the sound of the tumble drier into the early morning. Now for the fridge incident. The fridge didn’t work in the room, I went to get ice from one of their restaurants, there then ensued a grand argument, where the waiter argued that you only needed 4 ice cubes to chill a warm bottle of wine. How petty, he got quite upset and demanded respect! Finally (I really could write forever), the roof top restaurant which was the primary reason for choosing the “hotel” was closed. This is not mentioned on their website at the time of our visit.
A wonderful boutique hotel in a beautiful historic town. A major booking site rates it as #2 although on the day it scored higher than the one in top spot. The roads are narrow so if you come by car, park in the nearby free carpark and obtain the key code in advance. I recommend contacting the hotel direct to ensure the the best room for your needs. We had one of the suites (room 1) with a patio in the peaceful garden. There is another suite on the first floor with a large private balcony. Do your research because some of the rooms in all of the hotels will experience a little road noise. Our room was incredibly spacious and very peaceful. Air conditioning was quiet and effective. The twin beds are very comfortable and when placed together form a super, super king! This is a hands off hotel but someone is always available by phone. If you are high maintenance, it may not be for you. There is an honour bar and large fridge (very reasonable prices) plus tea and coffee machine. I found this better than a fridge in the room because they can be noisy. The staff are so caring and helpful. The continental breakfast is very extensive plus you only have to ask for a cooked breakfast if required. We've had the most enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Our recent stay at Can Simoneta was nothing short of extraordinary, and it's truly a place where every detail exudes luxury and relaxation. Nestled on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean, the property boasts breathtaking views that simply take your breath away. The service at Can Simoneta is impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay. They were not only attentive to our needs but also went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our visit was perfect. Their recommendations for local activities and dining were spot on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the exquisite dining experience. The restaurant at Can Simoneta serves up culinary delights that are both innovative and mouthwatering. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that perfectly complemented the serene surroundings. Whether enjoying breakfast overlooking the sea or indulging in a romantic dinner under the stars, every meal was a memorable occasion. The accommodations at Can Simoneta are equally impressive. Our room was elegantly appointed with modern amenities and a charming, rustic charm that reflected the character of Mallorca. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs and enjoying a cup of coffee on our private terrace was the epitome of relaxation. Overall, Can Simoneta exceeded our expectations in every way possible. It's a place where luxury meets tranquility, where every corner offers a stunning view or a delightful surprise. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or simply a place to unwind and recharge, Can Simoneta is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return to this slice of paradise on our next visit to Mallorca.
GGuest UserThis little hotel is a real gem - situated in a rural area, between olive trees, vineyards and fields, the former finca offers rooms and wonderful pool-villas. The villas are of a very good size, in a tasteful design and offer a terrace with view to an unspoilt landscape and offer a pool from the size, that you can swim a little bit. It`s quiet and peaceful. You can hear the birds and the sheep-bells in the distance. Special thanks to Evgeni. For us he is the good soul of the hotel for some years now. He is always there when you need assistance or for a little chat . Only the restaurant felt a little bit down this year. On a balmy evening they refused us to sit outside. We quickly decided to go to our italian restaurant in Cala Rajada (there you can always sit outside, even on a stormy March-evening). Suddenly we were allowed to sit on the terrace. Other guests joined us. We were treated a little bit cold for our non-complying behaviour on this evening. Normally I would reduce one point for such an incident. But this hotel is so lovely, I don`t do it.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff very helpful and efficient and choice and quality of food was first class. First time in Cala Millor, really enjoyed our break which was greatly enhanced by the Hipocampo Palace. Unusually for Majorca no problem in sourcing sunbeds at any time during the day. A first class hotel which no doubt we will visit again.
YYuliyaJ2Real wow factor of the room with marina view and a huge balcony. 5 star accommodation and service. You can actually watch the yachts docking in, all day long. Peaceful harbour with no waves but lots of amazing vistas. Sports facilities and pool and lifts and library and restaurant with 24/7 reception. Next door to the most of amenities. Top attractions like Caves of Drach and parks are 2 minutes walk. Small community that is a real gem. Unspoilt Mallorca at it's best. Loved the experience. Must come back. Place is really busy after April, but we loved the tranquility of March.
I love this hotel, the location, the staff from reception to waiters, to cleaners to lifeguard to entertainment team - they are all so lovely! I stayed for 4 days in July, with a friend and took my husband back in September for a week, as was so impressed. The residents are probably 90% German as is Cala Ratjada but that makes it more interesting! It’s the sort of place I feel you could also go alone for peace. It’s situated apart from the busy area - 15 min walk around coast and it has lovely pool and bar area. Steps are built directly into the sea and only thing missing is sandy beach, but you can catch a bus to various others or just walk to closest one. There’s a smaller indoor pool and spa area with massages etc on offer and loads of space for sun beds around pool and grass area. Even tennis, bikes and paddle boarding available. Nightly entertainment is on offer if you have supper there or can head out. wish I could go again!
we found Porto Cristo while on holiday in another resort earlier in the year and just had to book a stay in this wonderful place , and the only hotel we wanted to stay was The Felipe ! Sitting above the beach/harbour with views to heal the soul .We had a top floor room with all amenities , but the balcony is where we spent our time whenever we were in the room . The hotel was everything we hoped it would be with excellent personal service and excellent food served in the sea facing restaurant and veranda. The reception staff were very friendly and informative and all the staff we met were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Felipe was kept very clean in all the areas used and the restaurant was spotless with a varied menu each night and the tables were cleared swiftly when people finished . We were only there for a long weekend and arrived early but ere able to leave our cases in reception and were told where to park the hire car up the road for free and from that moment on we had the best weekend. We had to check out at 12 on the last day but werent flying until later so they said we could leave the bags and use the spa showers later to freshen up before we departed . I cant recommend this hotel highly enough and we will 100% be returning to this wonderful place in beautiful Porto Cristo
GGuest UserLovely hotel, comfortable beds, our room was cleaned every day and the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a really good location., Central for bars and restaurants. The lack of an outdoor terrace or balcony to our room was a disappointment (though when I read the small print it did tell us that) There was no view either, and the Windows had been frosted to obscure the lack of a nice out look. There was no English tv stations, and we weren't too bothered about that, but i would have liked a news channel . The sun terrace on the roof is lovely, but I also thought it would have been nice to have had snacks available. You can get drinks though. Overall the good things outweigh the negatives, and it is a lovely hotel.
