We had a lovely stay here over October half term. I couldn't fault anything about our experience at the hotel. We had a room with a sea view in block A (I wasn't expecting the sea view so that was a nice surprise). The room was really spacious - sofa bed was made up in the separate living room for our daughter, and I found the beds in the main bedroom very comfy - I slept well. The hotel was pretty quiet and chilled out at this time of year - there were loads of loungers available by the pool all day. I think even if it was busy you wouldn't have trouble finding a sunbed. Towels are available from reception for the outdoor pools. The indoor pool was a real bonus and our daughter loved it. There was a plentiful supply of towels available in the changing room. There is also a sauna and steam room. Outside there's a table tennis table and pool table. Drinks in the bar and at dinner are reasonably priced. It was easy to park our hire car outside the hotel- plenty of on street parking nearby. The food was great- the dinner buffet was very varied, something different every night, with different freshly cooked options available from the hot plate. The breakfast omelettes and pancakes were delicious. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our daughter loved the mini disco. The mini train stops outside the hotel and it's only a short walk from Cala Agulla and Cala Ratjada. We also really loved the walk from Cala Mesquida to Cala Torta, which was a beautiful, pretty deserted beach. You can also walk to Cala Gat, which was a lovely sandy cove.

Family friendly hotel, catering mainly for the German market although some French arriving today. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, I had an issue with the air con. Having spoken to reception about it, within half an hr the maintenance man was there to fix it! The beach is a 20 min walk to the harbour then along the beautiful path that leads to a small beach. So many bars and restaurants to choose from with lovely boutique style shops too. The food in the hotel is amazing, for dinner you can expect steak, bbq etc to be cooked for you! There is so much choice, you definitely won’t go hungry! The children’s choice is also very good. The entertainment has been good so far! Still her with another 3 nights to go. I’d definitely recommend this hotel, mainly for the relaxing atmosphere, but also the food and hospitality! Bravo

We stayed at the protur for 10 nights in August and loved our stay. We booked a late deal and it was our first time visiting the area and hotel. Due to a delay with our flight and transfer we arrived very tired at 4am but we were greeted with a warm welcome and offered food (which we declined in favour of sleep! but a nice gesture). The room was large and we were lucky enough to be given a room with a jacuzzi bath which was a great extra! In some areas the room needed a little TLC, the bed headboard was peeling and the bath panel didn’t fit quite right, but these were only very very minor details and did not impact on our stay. As mentioned in previous reviews the beds are a little hard but not that bad and it’s personal preference. The rooms and hotel were spotless and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job. The hotel grounds were lovely, green and well maintained. It felt nice and private with trees surrounding the complex. My 5 year old loved the pool and we spent a lot of time there, it’s a good sized pool and we never had any issues getting sun loungers despite it being peak season and the hotel being full. There is also a shallow pool with a small slide for younger children. Initially most of the guests were German with a few other nationalities but later in the week there was more of a spread of different nationalities including a number of English families. We stayed half board and breakfast and dinner was fantastic! Good choice of food and surroundings and the staff were very attentive. Special mention to the head chef Jason who we spent some time talking to, he is very personable, attentive and a credit to the hotel. The bar area by the pool is nice if you choose to order lunch or drinks, we only did this a couple of times due to being full from breakfast! The area has everything you need, shopping, harbour, restaurants and bars. It largely caters for German clientele but this was not a problem for us. The beaches… amazing! They are a little bit of a walk but manageable even with a 5 year old in tow and we enjoyed it. We went in peak season so the beaches were busy but beautiful with crystal clear water. In the evening we mostly stayed at the hotel for drinks and entertainment. We didn’t use the kids club but my son liked the kids disco and the lady who ran this completely on her own was great with the children. The entertainment was mixed but the acrobat/entertainer on the Sunday was fantastic, as was the flamenco dancers and magician on the Mondays. Always a nice atmosphere and we met some lovely families during our stay. We don’t normally tend to go to the same places every year but we loved this hotel and area so we intend on returning! We hope to hire a car next time so we can skip the 2 hour transfer from the airport plus it gives us the ability to explore the area a bit more. If you are looking for a relaxing family holiday in Majorca I would definitely recommend!

Checked into Protur Turo Pins in Ratjada on 19th July 2022 for two nights. We booked a 2 bedroom Superior suite. On the first night we returned to find three cockroaches running around the room. There may have been more but we were absolutely horrified and it was so distressing so didn't want to spend any longer in the room looking for them! They were really big and running around so quickly and it was really scary. This was not the ending to the family birthday we had hoped for and we had a child in our party so they were really upset and terrified. We immediately called Reception and thankfully, they moved us to another room, which we appreciated. It was a lower class of suite but we didn't care as we wanted to be as far away from the cockroaches as possible. The next day we received a telephone call from Reception offering to move us to another suite at the same level as the one we booked. We declined as that would be 3 rooms in less than 24 hours! We had also spent most of the previous night checking the new room and going through our bags and clothing several times in case there were any others. We were exhausted as we didn't sleep at all and it really ruined our entire stay. We were also only there for two nights so just decided to put up with it but we never actually got to stay in the level of room we paid for unfortunately. We didn't hear from the Manager at all which we thought was pretty poor customer relations. We were also very uneasy as we were constantly checking for other cockroaches in the room, restaurant, bar, pool etc and just couldn't relax at all. We also noticed a very, very, large number of ants at the front of the hotel which, combined with our cockroach ordeal, did suggest the pest control needed more attention. Upon checking out, the Receptionist gave us the impression that this was not a surprise to them but that was just the perception we had. We would NEVER stay in this hotel or chain again and would NOT RECOMMEND Protur Turo Pins on the basis of our experience. We have travelled extensively, internationally, and in varied levels of hotel and never had this most unpleasant and appalling experience. It is completely unacceptable in our opinion.

We stayed here for two nights during our holiday and were in general happy with the hotel. It's located a short walk from restaurants and shops (probably about 15 min for beach, but we didn't try) and there's ample street parking close to the hotel. However if you're like us, staying with half board, you probably don't need to wander a lot as the food in the restaurant is very good, as well is the service. Nice selection and enough varying from day to day to keep it interesting. We stayed in a junior suite on the ground floor, which was very nice with a large terrace. However when we arrived our room was very hot and damp and it turned out that the AC didn't work. We realized that one of the door sensors that prevents the AC to be on when doors/windows are open were broken, and it was quickly fixed my maintenance. However this was quite obvious and should have been noticed by housekeeping. Only other downside was very spotty Wi-Fi, which as we had to do some work (and even had asked for a good position before arrival), made it a bit difficult to be effective. It seemed however that it was spotty in the whole area, so maybe some difficulties the days we were there? Pool area was nice and never felt crowded and there was also a small kiidy pool with slides. There's also a handy snack bar by the pool that had drinks, ice cream and some light food, but service here was incredibly slow (even without queues) both days we were there so they really need to find a more effective system. All in all a very nice stay, with only some minor issues that easliy can be fixed.

Great mid level hotel for us who travelled with a 1.5 year toddler. Do note that the hotel is very family oriented and vast majority of guests bring young children. Children are by nature noisy, they run around, they play and enjoy themselves - this will be noticed especially at high season. The rooms have been recently refurbished and is of acceptable quality, although the bed was incredibly hard and we had to request several extra bed toppers to get a decent sleep. The pools are older and slightly under sized occasionally feeling very crowded in the water, however there where always free sun loungers available. The breakfast and buffet dinner is as expected for a 4* hotel with reasonably variation throughout a week, its not spectacularly tasty and often a bit dry or overcooked, but it does the job of satisfying the stomach. The wine selection offered by bottle offered great price/quality and was always served perfectly chilled with the option to save remaining parts of bottles for coming days.

I think Tanja in the Kids Club was great. She brought a lot of energy into everything she did even though she had a lot of kids to look after. I think maybe more money could be invested here to give her more to work with. The food was excellent and great choice. The staff were very good when you asked them. The restaurant manager wasn't as helpful or accommodating but at least the staff were. The room cleaning was a bit underwhelming, sometimes room was cleaned at 5pm and not very well but that is not so important to me. The room itself is big. It could do with a bit of a refurbishment but was clean and welcoming. The pool was great and the size of the hotel meant it was never too crowded. The staff at reception were always very helpful. There were also some great beaches nearby within walking distance and the town itself is also only 10 minutes away. It's a lovely hotel and we will be back!

Stayed with two small children and it was a great family hotel! They loved the kids pool, the entertainment and they had great fun with the staff. The staff were all fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and restaurant was so good, lots of choice and delicious! The snack bar was really good value and the drinks we had, beer, wine, cava were really well priced! When we checked in at 4am, we were offered some breakfast which was a really nice touch after a long journey, but we decided to go straight to bed. Nice rooms, good sized balcony! Would definitely recommend as a hotel for families, we had a great stay here.
