Below is a message that sums up our stay that I sent to The Belle Vue with no response!!! My partner and I stayed with you Friday evening on the 14th April. We arrived around 7pm and we was really happy with the hospitality shown and a great meal in the bar and a couple of drinks. As you probably remember we was attending a dog show early the following morning on the Saturday and was happy you were arranging a 8am breakfast for us both. unfortunately that's where our stay became not very pleasant. The bed was not at all comfortable having a wooden board underneath where we could feel every spring and I feel not suitable for paying guests. Sleeping was always going to be difficult with two people sharing but again that was not the main problem. The problem was the floor boards above and the guests above that had little consideration for anyone else. Every bit of slight movement and noise was easily heard below giving my partner, myself and even our dog a horrendous night. We decided at 530am to give up the ghost on sleeping and pack up and head off to the show, exhausted . We tried to contact yourselves at a decent hour to inform about the breakfast to save any possible waste but to no avail. In summary we spent good money in your bar and on food and are totally happy with the quality but the room was not appropriate in my opinion. This ruined our day at the Royal Welsh Showground something we was both looking forward to very much. I do not want to have to approach *********** or start putting reviews on trip advisor about this incident but I feel maybe we should be refunded directly by your business for a horrendous hotel room stay. My advice to the Belle Vue is that the room number 12 is either sorted out or do not put people in the room above. I await your response, and if no response given, I will have no alternative than to inform *********** on this matter and request a refund through them. Regards Martin and Jody , who made the booking.
