Britannia Inn

We loved our stay at the Britannia Inn. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. Ann was so welcoming and friendly which added an extra special touch to the stay. Oh and the food … amazing!! I will be back for sure.

A fantastic place for food……home cooked steak and ale pie was truly spectacular! Lovely warm welcome from the landlady. Gorgeous surroundings and nice selection of ales to drink. Big car park makes getting here very easy. If you like pies……….give it a try! 🙂

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we stopped for food, the chicken curry was one of the best I have had!! We had a wam and friendly welcome. I cannot praise the food enough. We will definitely be calling here for food again when we are in llangollen next

What a beautiful find. A very traditional place that just does what it says on the tin. Super comfy bed and just fantastic food! Stayed here for a night in August and decided to sit outside for a couple of drinks before dinner to enjoy the lovely view. Chose fish and chips for dinner for me and hubby which was perfect, compliments to the chef. After a perfect sleep, woke up to what must be the best breakfast we have ever had. This is where myself and hubby differ … he prefers quantity, whereas I prefer quality. Must say, breakfast served us both very well. It was extremely generous and the quality first class, possibly the best breakfast we have ever been served, and we have travelled!! Huge thank you to the lovely staff at Brittania for making our weekend perfect. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Been here over few years for meals, always great, this weekend fab as usual, best place to eat in and around Llangollen, allergies, no problem. Lady who served us was excellent, nothing was too much bother, we go to Llangollen every year and always get friendly service at this pub even though we are not local
